i've been lurking in this site for about a week now.
i didn't know something like this existed or else i may have come sooner.
i'm a bit selfish for making this my first post, but i'd like to introduce myself and get some feedback if possible.. my parent's became jehovah's witnesses when i was eight years old, so i was for the most part "raised in the truth".

i was led to beleive hat the cananites settled in europe ?.
is this true if so where are they now.. i need to know from anyone whom can give facts ,not just hearsay.

had lunch at last with matt - 1 hour is just not long enough.. my daughter came along aswell, and the three of us had a good laugh.. mr nw was unable to make it today, but will for sure next time.. but, what a lovely bloke matt is - i was very kind to him, and we had loads to talk about, as i say, not enough time.. chevy - you have a great friend in matt - and yes i saw your photo - you look lovely.. you will have to pay a visit and we will all have lunch together !!!!!!!!.

i'm not feeling too good about myself today.
no particular reason.
just feeling down in that i'm-a-bad-person-and-i'm-going-to-burn-in-hell-when-i-die way.

Its horrible when we get days like this.....
Somedays I want to be left alone, but my kids keep me going... I am not allowed to be down for too long...Mr NW keeps me smiling.. but somedays it is really hard.... but I keep trying.....He knows though to just let me get over whatever is bothering me.
So do whatever you feel you have to do, but make it a BIG TEX day, wallow, whatever, or just watch that lovely tree in your front garden grow...
But know that you have some terrific friends on here, and we all share the same boat somedays.. lets hope that the good days outweigh the bad...
Just know that you are not alone, and tomorrow is another day, and you will feel so much better.

first post on here and just a basic inquiry before i get in to the meat of my problem.
question is "is this a good forum to discuss problems i have dating a jehovah's witness?

WOVY Why dont you marry the woman ,take here to one of those places in america where they marry within 24 hours, There are many jehovahs witnesess that have married unbeleiving husbands or wives not of there religion, will solve most of your problems and of course move away from her hometown with the kids, FROM ENGLAND.
every forum has it's flavor, posters, laws and mentalities.
how would you evaluate this forum?
what do you like about it, and what would you change if possible?
This is the only forumn which we have been on , we found it by chance not knowing what and how other forumns are operated,you are givn as much freedom as you need to post your messages, which is therapy within itself you learn an awfull lot from others you can come and go as you please,post or not there is no gun to your head,you learn to respect others ,and there viewpoints but most importantly you are allso here to help and guide damaged ones whom are leaving or have left the borg,j.w your personal interests dont count much ,and truth always prevails over lies,this is a community of loving and compassioate people here to help with every or most people here ready to give of there own time. all without charge, I SEE THIS AS A CITY OF REFUGE AS MENTIONED IN THE SCRIPTURESBEGINING OF FREEDOM AFTER THE ORGANISATION.
is there anyone out there who cannot bear those appalling kingdom melodies we had to sing ?

has anyone noticed that alot of paul's ideas that are part of the scriptures contrast directly with jesus'??
paul said about fornicators, idolaters, etc.
that they should be booted out of the congregation and should be "treated as a person of the nation, or a tax collector" and that no one should "even say a greeting to him.
Mr NW has just come back in... Paul was not of the 'apostles' as he did not sit with Jesus at the Last Supper.... He was not in agreement with the 'elders' in Jerusalem, so if he also was ordained by holy spirit - why was he not in accord with them, because these men were directly ordained by Jehovah so supposedly all these ones would have the interests of the 'Kingdom' in mind? (Paul included) Again. the circumcision decision was also disputed by Paul... Paul comes over as a rebel within the Christian Congregation - and NW's brother states him as being the first anti-Christ? Could prove to be a very interesting topic (I agree with Billy) Mrs NW
