'Anointeds' Do you know any and if so what are they like ?

would like to hear about any experiences anyone has had with the so called ' anointed ' .

Here some considerations about being "anointed".

According to the Bible it's a perceptible change. I confirm this.

--it gives you a special relation to God and Christ. I confirm this.

--these privileges can be lost. I agree as father disciplines those he loves.

--it does not take your free will from you. I concur, turning away is easy.

If you think those are strong and special and super clean and bright, it's possible, but the bible says that the calling is often open for just those who are nothing special in this world.

What struck me most was the cleaning of the mind once "it" happened.

Salvation is by grace for each and everyone, no matter how far he or she might believe to be onto the road of life and righteousness.

Not good it is to focus on too much peculiar Bible interpretation, Yoda would say. Stay focused on the main message or the vital parts.

I have nothing left in the tank, I need help

i dont have the willpower to attend meetings anymore.

i'm literally on the sound system list every week.

i'm either reading on sunday or tuesday, praying on tuesday nites, adjusting mics, passing mics, or working the sound system, or doing last minute parts for the service meeting.

Take a chatter session with an elder and tell him what you like and are willing to do and what your schedule does not allow anymore. Tell them that you are exhausted and that you need a little slowdown.

He will most likely pressure you to drop the college. If there are unskilled workers who cant meet the ends or have to do shifts or overtime and therefore miss lots of theocratic activities or who have become inactive, name those and tell the elder that you dont want to end up this way. Better doing some sacrifices now for a limited time than for the rest of your working carreer.

Use this or similar if applicable. Never use lies!

I am sooo screwed

so last night i was talking to my sister about how i admired president obama's speech to the u.n that happened earlier that day.. i then compared the extremism of isis to how much of a fanatic my jw bil is.. at the end of the statement , my mom walked in to the kitchen.

she was standing in the living room and she heard everything i said.. she called the elders that night to tell them what i said so they can counsel me.. i'm going to meet with them after the meeting on sunday!.

what do i do?!!!!!.

Just in a very polite manner decline the backroom session. Thank them for their concerns and reassure them, that you will search counsel in case of need.

Those touting laws of physics should also consider the law of entropy and the law of cause and effect.

In regards of entropy, here one thought. Shoot at a washing maschine and hope to find it doing the drying and the ironing job afterwards. The living organismes are way more complex than a washing maschine.

Cause and effect. Take a pencil. Think about all the knowledge and the ingenuity that was necessary to come to that simple item.

Now take the whole of the living world with all its complex interdependent processes and systems. A pencil is nothing in comparison. Now is it pure stupidity to consider an incredible enormous and wise and ingenious creator behind all of this?

A book called the Bible says about those who chose to believe the lie of evolution to be without excuse when judgement is spoken. I would not want to stand against a truck in full speed. Compare...

will never be peace even under god's rule.. i think god realize he have created a mess and said screw this .

and have left us on our own.. each day there is another crisis, what's next.... there is no solution to bring harmony among mankind, hell.

jam, this is not so wrong. The fact that Jesus will have to rule with a iron shepther and after the millenium there will be a big Gog-Magog war. Salvation here on earth is an illusion. Read Rev. 21 last verses. Even during the millenium the goal will be to enter New Jerusalem. Place of salvation (rev 22:14). Outside nothing good finds perpetual blessings. (v.15)

Believing is not an option. The q. is whether you build your life in a positive way upon this faith. Remember, even the demons believe. This hardly gives them any positive outlook for their existence.

while i'm glad i found this site, it has also crumbled to bits everything i've believed in my whole life.

i feel like the certainty, magic and wonder has gone out of my life.

this has left a huge hole in my soul.

You are disappointed, but please dont leave God altogether. Why never eating bread again when your long time baker sold you bad products.

Educate yourself and pick your next bakery carefully. And why not baking your bread yourself?

You can figure out things if you realy want to. Pray and ask for understanding while reading different Bible-translations.

Most important thing is, that you dont need a human mediator. Jesus is also YOUR mediator and you can engage in a relation with him, the son of God.

1. Pet. 5:7 is a very valid help.

Find new friends who respect you for who you are.
