Jehovah's Witnesses have been predicting Armageddon since their beginning, the Watchtower knows that if there is no immediate fear of Armageddon, then people would lose interest, you even said so yourself.
You are young--- plan a career, go to college, definitely get a different boyfriend, and don't live your life in fear over the possibility of Armageddon. I was told numerous times when I was young that Armageddon would happen in the 20th century, several watchtowers even alluded to that. The proof is in the pudding, it was all a big hox. -

The Happening
by leavingwt ini recently watched m. night shyamalan's latest film, the happening.
i would describe it as "equally as bad as the lady in the water".
dreadful.. disclosure: i really enjoyed 'signs' and 'unbreakable'.

The village was rather boring for most of the movie, but when it started to be apparent that it was a cult, my attention perked up. Amanda and I both almost walked out of it. I was expecting a scary horror type movie to begin with, and that is why I was disappointed with it to begin with. The ending made it all worthwhile though.

Has this been mentioned here?
by Junction-Guy insupposedly today in sweden, some scientists are supposed to run some kind of experiment with a nuclear type collider, and they say there is a possibility that it could open up a black hole and destroy the earth.

I may be going to the Smoky Mts saturday also. They are only 40 miles away from me though. It depends on whether my brother comes down this weekend or not.

I travel for pleasure, I love taking road trips. The high gas prices have really put a crimp in my lifestyle.

Why is the murder rate going down?
by easyreader1970 inmany people flee to the wbts because of all of the negativity in the world, perceived or real.
"the world is going to hell in a handbasket" is the general belief of most witnesses, especially those who are of middle to low income and have to deal with the unpleasantness of things a little bit more than the well-to-do witnesses who may have their paradise right now.
anyway, something spurred me to check statistics.

probably because we are once again a heavily armed society like we were in the 1960's before all of the gun control legislation.

(in the southern hemisphere it's just turning to spring).

I too love September, there are so many festivals and events this month, plus around here you usually don't have the stifling heat of summer, and the leaves stay mostly green all month.
October is another thing though, because after the leaves peak midway, then it all goes downhill after that.
