  What about using encrypted ZIP files, and just publishing the password here? Or better still, hide the files in a larger bitmap image using steganography software - your ISP goes to investigate and all they find is a picture of a hedgehog or whatever.

  Really, is there anything they don't try to control?

  I think the best examples are simple things that have absolutely nothing to do with morality or Bible principles. When is the last time you saw a JW man with a beard? You would think individuals would be allowed to make such a simple decision for themselves, but no.

  I seem to recall there is (or was) a movie file or flash animation somewhere on the 'net, depicting the JWs deliverence through Armageddon. I wish I still had the link. It's just as sickening.

  it must take a certain amount of time for the arrow to get halfway to the target.

  It is finite because as the number of increments approaches infinity, the value of the increment approaches zero.

  Yes, the JWs do believe that a husband has greater authority than his wife.

  HOWEVER... they also believe that a higher authority should be obeyed only if it does not conflict with God's law (or what they perceive to be God's law). So if a wife were to take the kids to the meeting against the wishes of her husband, it's more likely that she would be congratulated rather than criticized.
