I would say not many. I had an ultra dub pioneer relative tell me that the overlapping generation was old light when I started questioning him about it.

First 3 Presidents never knew JC began his reign as King in 1914 ?
by smiddy3 inthe first 3 presidents of the i.b.s.a ./ jehovah`s witnesses / wtb&ts.. w.h.conley ,c.t.russell ,j.f.rutherford .. how many jehovah`s witnesses know that ?
how many ex jehovah`s witnesses knew that ?
the wt society teaches that jesus returned to begin his "invisible presence" in 1914 directing his attention toward the earth as ruling king.

Profiles on tinder
by joe134cd ini decided to set up a tinder account a while back.

I decided to set up a tinder account a while back. The other day, while looking through profiles, something really stood out to me. Particularly, with the female Tinderites, i was impressed by the level of honesty, open communication, no interstest in one night stands, and moon light beach walks. Here is my question? If the above is true, then why in my country do we have an abysmally high STI infection, with a 50% divorce rate to match.
Here is another thing I noticed. I was struck by just how much people were into good living standards. Most profiles stated that they worked out at the gym, got their 5 a day, and were staunch vegans. If this is true, then why do I live in one of the fattest nations in the world. Where are all these people excising in the morning because I certainly dont see them.
Here are a few conclusions i reached and i am wanting feed back.
People on tinder are in fact a different subset to the general population. If this was true you would think numbers would be skyrockting with people wanting to join.
People on tinder are deluded as to their true identitiy. This would create a two fold problem with meeting in person. Because not only have you been deluded enough to hide an unattractive trait, but you have also shown you were deluded enough to turn up in person a reveal it. If the object was to get laid, this certainly wouldnt help the cause.
People on tinder a lyers. I hate to say this, but for me this is the most likely answer. It is also the most hardest to understand, the mentality behind it. I mean the ultimate goal would be to at least meet a prospective profile in person. I see tinder as a vehicle that i drive to get to a destination. If i get to that destination and find that it isnt what it is described in the book then its game over. So why try to cover it up in the first place. Hey if your a pack a day man, with a beer belly and discoloured teeth, then I say stand tall. Id have more respect for you if you did.

Mexico: 2020 Census results released; bad news for the org?
by Corney ina decade ago, the 2010 census found there were 1,561,086 jehovah's witnesses in mexico (census page > tabular data > basic questionnaire > religion).
and according to the recently released 2020 census results, the number of mexicans identifying as such has declined by 2% to 1,530,909. both figures greatly outnumber those reported by the organization (e.g., peak publishers: 710 thousands and 874 thousands respectively), which means the former ones include children and free-riders.
for comparison, the total population has grown by 12%, the catholic, adventist (sda) and mormon (lds) populations - by 5%, 16% and 6% respectively.

Menrov - What slim is trying to say is that the demographics of an inactive has changed. For example a person becoming inactive because he wants to watch the football on Sunday morning, but still believes it to be the truth. Therefore, he identifies with the religion in the census. To that same person been exposed to negative information via the internet, or news media, and not self identifying as a jw.

This subject interests me regarding the growth rates of religious groups, and success of the methods used. I have written on this subject many times. Here is one example.
https://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/5926017217593344/lds-statistics-extension-may-suggest-that-jws-could-bigger-more-engaged-membership
Although the census does show 3 other religious groups out preforming the JWs. What it doesn’t show are the activity rates and the depth of involvement by its members. Let’s make this clear, saying and doing are two different things. Btw take lds membership with a grain of salt.
However, the Mexican census does support a few things. The counting methods used by the JWs tends to underestimate rather than overestimate. Generally, census figures tend to be twice that of what WT reports. This would support that Wt is been honest with it’s counting. Interestingly, the memorial attendance is around 20million, which would account for those who aren’t really involved in the religion.
If you look at the above post. One could justifiably speculate that the jws could perhaps be bigger and more involved than the lds. This becomes even more impressive when you factor in that the lds had a 50 year head start on the JWs. By the the time CT Russel came along the mormons were established in Utah.
In my opinion, the religion to watch is the SDA. Eventually this religion will begin to dominate the JWs/lds. They may even well be doing it now.

Pioneers, Elder's Wives most self righteous. Etc.
by Overrated inas a jw did you have a pioneer sister/elder's wife who was the biggest busybody, self righteous, arrogant pus in the circuit?
who would look down on others and treat people like crap.. without giving to much away, i experienced one that knew everyone in circuit.
and if she or her husband saw or heard something they didn't like it was " you know what the bible says" regardless if it was in there or not.

Yesterday I happened to be driving through a rural town where I made an observation. First let me describe this town. It’s almost a shadow of its former self. I guess this would be a result of urban shift. It is poor, with mainly an indigenous population. Massive problems with the cultivation, manufacture, and usage of drugs. Apart from a grocery store, petrol station and a pub there is absolutely nothing to do. This could be one of the reasons for the high consumption of drugs and birth rate. There has also been issues with gangs. Anyway, you get what I mean.
Here is what really stood out to me. The only 2 churches left in this town were the KH and the LDS. The lds building was impeccably well kept. Although the KH wasn’t to the standard of the lds, and probably more reflected the economic situation of the community, it was still passable. Both buildings were probably of a higher standard to the area they existed in. Telling indeed. Make what you like of it, as to the environments these 2 groups flourish in, and their standard of membership.

Yup I agree with the posters here. I’m a fader as well. I’m happy to be mentally and physically out, just can’t be bothered upsetting the apple cart with a JC. Don’t try and fix what isn’t broken.

Zoom meetings
by molybdenum inbeing pimo i attend the meetings regularly over zoom.
( i have to as my wife is a dyed -in - the wool, and stick-in-the mud pioneer witness.
i have no possibility of leaving as it would create havoc in my life and at 68 years of age i just don't want the hassle of having to cope with the ramifications of disassociating myself.

Please don’t take offence to my comments here, but there is a time if a person hasn’t left the org by a certain age. The person is better off left there. My elderly father, who is a bit older than you, is a perfect example. Waking up and getting DFed at his stage in life would literally kill him. So much so that when that TV doco “the witness” aired in this country. I took him out to dinner ,out of fear, he would stumble across it as he was flicking through the channels. To this day, I still think, he is unaware of its existence. I see this as a positive thing. Although I realise CSA is a very bad thing. Hey, I just do what is best for my dad.
