  How many use their tablet and ipads at the mtg ...for internet surfing?

  so if you are still an attender, how many use their tablets or ipads during the mtg for 'non theocratic' purposes?.

  i often log on here, and post during the mtg (if no one is sitting behind me that would notice).

  Story of a friend that woke up.

  its kinda funny that about a year ago this friend went to my elders and turned me in for asking and maybe stating a few things to him that i guess made him feel unconfertable.

  but over this same time his mate was sleeping around and he has been in the truff for 55 years roughly, born-in.

  we continued to work together and i keep my mouth shut.

  I find myself saying this at least a couple of times a week.

  "Its just blows my mind how an organisation is prepared to spend billions of dollars and man hours trying to find a new recruit, and yet will do virtually nothing (except an obligation free disfellowship), to care for and retain that recruit."

  i can give you a very good example like the one you just described. There was an elder sister who had died in the cong I attended, and it wasn't until I found her name on a list and enquired of her that I found she had died. Ok she wasn't a publisher but went to the meetings. I remember at the time putting it down to been in a big congregation. But now that I look back on it I seriously have to ask how I could not have known, and I was very active at the time. I have known of sick elderly ones who no one has visited. I'm glad walked on that loveless organisation.

  Are apostates becoming more brazen

  i was just watching the video of bo jensen, when he walked into the bethel.

  although i thought it was commendable for what he did, it got me thinking if apostates are becoming more brazen in taking wt to task.

  in the short time that i have been visiting apostate sites, i do feel that this is the case.

  I guess the difference is phizzy is that I'm a fading dubbie so I have to be a bit more careful in my dealings with them. Would love to tell them what I really think. But am happy with the situation the way it is.

  I was just watching the video of Bo Jensen, when he walked into the Bethel. Although I thought it was commendable for what he did, it got me thinking if apostates are becoming more brazen in taking WT to task. In the short time that I have been visiting apostate sites, I do feel that this is the case. I was even reading a article that ex-members are becoming more open and militant in their approach. I say as as long as the nature is not threatening then power to the people. What do you think

  Translating JWFacts to Spanish... Update?

  as you all may know, it is an ongoing project to translate jwfacts to spanish.

  given that there are more than 2 spanish-speaking jw's for every one that speaks english, it can be safely said that spanish is the #1 language in the jw world (even though everything is made originally in english).. the spanish-speaking jw's are harder to convince.

  i attribute it almost 100% to socioeconomic factors.

  I believe you have to have a very similar to the jw.org equivalent in Spanish. That way some one could accidently click on it by accident. Just want to increase your odds of been hit on.
