The Watchtower organization's crime against humanity
by TerryWalstrom inwho are the real heroes of society?.
are they not the people who are doctors and nurses and teachers and firemen and policemen and counselors and humanitarians?.
because of the watchtower organization, we are missing generations of those kinds of heroes who will not exist (but could have) because jehovah's witnesses destroyed them by convincing millions of it's members those professions are meaningless and unimportant for them to pursue.

StrongHaiku; that's my JW mom your describing! She claimed disability in the early 90's (in Sweden) just so she could focus 100% on this false religion. There was nothing wrong with her, just some backproblems. Back then it was also a pretty easy thing to do in Sweden.
But, she managed to go from door to door and walk miles after miles, she still do. When she complains about never having enough money, I always tell her to deliver the daily paper since she's running around at people's doors all day anyways. "Just put the papers in a little red wagon behind you and make some extra money..." But no, that's no good, lol.
Interestingly though, she manage to get a lot of freebies. A "sister" paid fully for her trip to Watchtower in Brooklyn a few years ago, just to get a travel companion. My mom of course thinks it was Jehovah that paid the ticket and hotel.

Has anyone heard any Watchtower PR spin or censorship advisory announcement at the kingdom hall regarding the child abuse story on NPR?
by Island Man ini remember some years ago when barbara did an expose of the child abuse issue on one of the networks, watchtower used the elders to inform the congregations not to view the program that was to be aired.
.
after this recent expose on npr, has there been any official watchtower release read as an announcement at the kingdom hall?.

Sorry, I fell asleep last night looking through the documentaries. I'm attaching the link to the YouTube clip, where the victim talks about the newspaper ad (around 4.02) and shows the ad.
Basically, what is says is that the victim is lying, that neither the victim or the accused were witnesses when it happened (which is not true), they lie about the timeline of the abuse, call the victim a liar and a bunch of other untruths. As I mentioned earlier, there were (several) major newspapers that refused to publish the ad.
The reason the WT had to place the ad is that they got massive attention after these investigative documentaries in Sweden. Everybody talked about it and witnesses got lots of problems due to it, especially in field service. So to save face they had to come up with these lies.

I found this article in Swedish, I clicked "translate this page" in Google so the translation is a little off but still understandable.
The investigation documentary shows the ad in the paper, but it's totally in Swedish so hard to understand.
the ad was huge, it took up a whole page. One of the major newspapers refused to publish it since the Swedish Watchtower didn't want to answer any questions regarding the info they put in the ad. The whole story is discusting to say the least. And "Anders", the victim, was DF'ed after he talked to the press.

I told my JW mom yesterday about the PBS report, she just flat out denied it, it just wasn't true. She lives in Sweden, so she didn't see it and she doesn't "get" the Internet so I can't send her links.
I told her about the Conti case and that the rapist pedophile is still active as an elder, but no, she wouldn't have it. It was "false news", they're all lying, trying to make the witnesses look bad. So news like these just can't reach the hardcore witness, it's impossible.
Back in 2002 or 2003 we had a big case of JW pedophilia in Sweden that got huge attention in the media. There's even an investigative documentary about it, still up on YouTube. All the Swedish congregations got order about not watching this investigation or listening to the news about it, because it was an apostate lie, according to the WT. Even though one of the elders admitted he was guilty!!!
The WT even took out a huge ad in some of the biggest newspapers, saying the victim is just lying and none of it was true. It makes your blood boil when you see how false the WT is, it's discusting.
Everytime I bring this up to my mom she insists its lies, lies, lies and that the bible says the witnesses will be under attack even though they're completley innocent. So to her, all of this just makes her faith stronger and it seems to make her exited since it all goes according to the biblical plan.
Im trying to make her see that in that case all the child molestation cases within the Catholic Church can then just as well be lies as well, but no, THAT'S true...Honestly, sometimes I feel like pulling out all of my own hair in frustration of the way her mind works...

That is so typical of "Little House on the Prairy" old fashion small minded perverted nut cases to come dragging with ideas like this. We live in a free country, don't let them take away our freedom. If someone wants to walk around with cameltoe and pointy nips, let them, who cares. I'd prefer that over burqas any day. If men wants to wear tight pants to show off his buns and package, let him.
What else would we get to gossip about otherwise? What would all these poor homosexuals that loves when men wears tight pants gawk over?
How boring wouldn't the red carpet become? Will Lady Gaga still be able to wear her meat dress or will that be forbidden too?

Within one minute JW with trolley directs me to JW.org
by steve2 ini live in relatively small seaside community (regional population around 45,000).
in my ten years here, i've had witnesses call on me perhaps twice (not special visits but during door-to-door).
whereas they once canvassed door-to-door much more frequently - and in larger size service groups - there is quite a decline in their door-knocking - at least in this region.. with the advent of the "trolley" work, their visibility has increased - but i'd estimate only marginally.

These trolleys are completely new to me and I still haven't seen any of them. I've lived in this same place for 4 years now but never have a JW knocked on my door here.
One time though I heard noice at my front door and whispering and I heard them walked down the stairs. When I opened my door no one was there but I had Watchtower magazines on my door handle. I'm thinking they've stopped knocking on doors all together.
Anyhow, about these trolleys, I'm wondering if the individual witness have to pay for them themselves? I know everything is "free", but we all know that's not really true. Wonder how much they cost? And then to fill them up with constant fresh magazines.
I just can't imagine the org is paying for it.
Land where do they store them? Can't be easy if one is living in a small flat? In that trolley-song, if I recall correctly, it ended with the trolley rolling into someone's garage.

Hypocrisy@Bethel
by scary21 indon't know how to do a link but................ video just posted on you-tube called hypocrisy@ bethel by jwfairytail.
he calls bethel several times about the happy@ bethel.
it last like an hour and a half.

I just finished the whole video. I do agree 110% with FairyTail but it was still kind of uncomfortable to listen to. I felt sorry for the elders, lol, even though I do know this is way, way hypocritical.
First time I saw this happy @ bethel video I was sure it was fake, but now I know it's not. I'm dumbfounded about the whole thing.
i think this whole "JW internet discovery" will be their downfall, they're digging their own grave. Which is a good thing.

Wow, I've never known anything about the Mormons, just that they can go fundamental and become polygamists. I like to watch the TLC series "Sister Wife's", which makes me appreciate how "normal" I really am, lol.
but they never bring anything about their faith up, just that living like a polygamist gives them better chance to enter through the pearly gates.
But this is just plain nuts, their belief that is. It's almost crazier than the WT fairytails, well, just almost. But I think I like the Mormons better anyways, they don't seem so stuck up or try to convert you in the same manners as the JWs. One of my teenage son friends is a Mormon, but he has never spoken about his faith.
anyhow, this video is brilliant and I wish one was made about the Watchtower.
