  Come home Cardinal Pell (song)

  enjoy a catchy protest song imploring catholic cardinal george pell to return to australia to face the royal commission for years of covering up child abuse.

  just as the royal commission began uncovering dirt, george pell got 'promoted' and moved from australia to the vatican.

  now he is coincidently too 'unwell' to return to australia to face the commission.

  researching something and was surprised to find charles taze russel's name pop up on the wikepedia page "globalization" - refering to the 1897 book "the battle of armageddon".. it's a few paragraphs down under the heading etomology and usage.

  i have "crisis of conscious" & "in search of christian freedom" by raymond franz, and "releasing the bonds" by steve hassan.

  all virtually brand new.

  anyone who wants these books in australia can either pick them up in brisbane, or i can post them to you if you pay for the postage.

  just thought this was interesting - people in positions of power have the same insincere don't give a **** attitude no matter what organisation - religious or otherwise.. this letter of a young boy to australian pm tony abbott about gay marriage and the response reminded me so much of my letters to bethel and many other people's.

  wouldn't it be great to see the big 8, wel the big 8 in the jw world not the national leaders big 8, ehem.. if they would all grow a beard for the next business meeting in october, where the nu-lite(r) is that beards are ok for men.. could someone photoshop one of the prevalent new smiley photos of the gb and put a few weeks of whisker growth on them?.

  just wondering what it would look like.

  not duck dynasty length, perhaps, but nicely trimmed full beards, or maybe goatees.. what do you think it would look like?
