  court tv is televising the longo trial, he was a disfellowshipped jw that killed his family in oregon last year.

  i emailed them about my experience, my daughter completed suicide after the elders threatened to disfellowship her.

  i also mentioned the bryant family murder suicides in oregon, the husband was disfellowshipped and in a desperate financial situation like longo about 18 months ago.. court tv excepts emails from viewers and sometimes airs them.

  HAVE PEOPLE ONLY BEEN ON EARTH FOR 5000 YRS LIKE JW'S SAY?

  i was always taught in the jw religion, that humans have really only been on earth for 5000 years or so... there is so much evidence of the neandertherdal people, with scientists finding many skulls, bones, & such, but scientists date these bones 100 thousand-millions of years old... the society used to always add that carbon dating is not accurate.

  i also noticed that jws never talked about the dinosaurs much... what do you think??????

  Summer conventions - how much does it cost to rent??

  i did a little research, and found out how much it is to rent the stadium in my city for the day.

  there were different rates for profit, and non profit organizations.. i will let everyone venture a guess, and then i will come back and give the answer for the city i live in.

  i would imagine that most venues such as this are likely around the same cost.. when collecting funds to operate these summer conventions, i wonder what they say it costs, compared to what it really does.

  JW's get free rent for The Long Beach Convention Center (L.A.) for another 9 years. They earned it because how they always keep it clean.

  Why weren't ealry Christians involved in political affairs? If a acommander asks a soldier to kill his fellow "brothers" of Country A, would he do it? What kind of love is that?

  hello :) i suppose this is my introduction to the forum, though i am not sure if i will actually post and read much here.

  i did go through several posts, and didn't find anything helpful, though i did find many posts interesting... anyway, i am not a jehovahs witness.

  How Do You Feel About Jehovah's Witnesses???

  nearly everyone that posts here says mostly negative things about the witnesses.

  a few will speak of certain jw's that were helpful to them while they were going through difficulties.

  in the situation that you find yourself in now, do you feel that you hate jw's?

  No. In fact the I dont hate anyone. The one we must do special campeigns are to these gagsters. Those are the real devil.

  i need anything at all that can counter the old dubya argument that jesus was simply 'a god'.

  the only thing is, it can't say that he is 'god'.
