Thanks for the replies so far.
I will likely be driving from Reno to Vegas. I figured it was about 400 miles. I drive Toronto-Boston 2-3 times per year (10 hrs) so that trip shouldn't be that bad. Also it is all new scenary for me which helps.
Do you have any suggested routes? If there is good stuff to see in between? I don't mind splitting the trip to Vegas between two days.

For fellow agnostics or atheists poo pooing this thread, take from it it what you can.
Not all seed grow immediately. Not all effort is immediately acknowleged. Spme things take time to germinate and grwo. So don'r dispair over the immediate but look to future growth.
Not that hard of a concept to grasp if you can look past the religious stuff.

The venue has the latest in sports simulators (golf and hockey) as well as being a bar/club. Should be a great event. Ladies, appealing to your baser instincts, plenty of single firefighters will be there!! wink wink nudge nudge. Guys, I know of a few HOT firefighter ladies that are going to be there too!! Party in Toronto tonight!!! Best part is it has nothing to do with the J-Dubs, but everything to do with people!

If I could be so bold:
In the past year or so, you have posted you have gay thoughts and experimented, then you were lonely, then hetero for sure, then admitted confusion again, now are posting about the plethora of women available. I may have missed some of the see-saw but remember these highlights. Now you state you are consulting your ex about your dating choices. WTF DUDE!?!?!?
My only suggestion is that if you actually date anyone let them know it is for fun and not interested in anything serious. I think you have a lot to figure out about yourself before ever hauling someone else into a serious relationship with you.

WT - 8/15/07 - We're making history
by Bonnie_Clyde inpage 26 - "those who will form the nucleus of the 'new earth,' a new earthly society of rightly disposed people are being gathered during these last days.
they are already nearly seven million strong, in at least 235 lands and in some 100,000 congregations.
these millions have been learning the righteous and just ways of jehovah, and as a result, worldwide they enjoy a unity that is cemented by christian love.

To counter the WT Society's claim please note just one example of a larger worldwide network namely, the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement. While not perfect, they accomplish more Humanitarian charity in one year than the Watchtower has in its entire existence. There is a worldwide network of "Red Crossers." Red Cross staff and volunteers are warmly welcomed at any Branch around the world and treated as part of the Red Cross Family.
If worldwide organization, friendship, charity, good works, good will and good intentions were all that was required, the Red Cross would be in a better position than anything the Watchtower Society could ever imagine. Amazingly (to some) Red Cross is not in any manner religious yet it does more than the self proclaimed "god's chosen people." Either the Watchtower are false prophets and liars or they are just really bad at being "God's Chosen People".
Of interest, note what the work of the Red Cross is based upon:
All Red Cross programs and activities are guided by the Fundamental Principles of Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality. These principles allow us to provide help immediately to whomever needs it, wherever they are, whatever their race, political beliefs, religion, social status, or culture.
Humanity
The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, born of desire to bring assistance without discrimination, endeavours, in its international and national capacity, to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose is to protect life and health to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual understanding, friendship, co-operation and lasting peace amongst all peoples.
Impartiality
It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. It endeavours to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give priority to the most urgent cases of distress.
Neutrality
In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Movement may not take sides in hostilities or engage at any time in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.
Independence
The Movement is independent. The National Societies, while auxiliaries in the humanitarian services of their governments and subject to the laws of their respective countries, must always maintain their autonomy so that they may be able at all times to act in accordance with the principles of the Movement.
Voluntary Service
It is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for gain.
Unity
There can only be one Red Cross or one Red Crescent Society in any one country. It must be open to all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory.
Universality
The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, in which all Societies have equal status and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other, is world-wide.

One of my former clients was an independent lab which was used to test the metal from the Towers after 9-11.
The original fire rating was given based on the fire retardant material that coated the steel beams. Testing showed that this material was blown off/shaken off, likely as a result of the massive impact from the plane crash. This made the steel weaker. IT did not have to melt in order to initiate a collapse. Even weakening sufficent amount of supports would have been enough to trigger the collapse.
I know you just have my say so as I just have the words of the people who did the testing. But I physically saw/touched some of the effected beams and saw where the fire retardant materials was missing, I saw the buckling of metal. Of all the material received by this lab, none of it had evidence of explosives nor any residue of C4 or other common explosives.
Now could the government have done more to prevent this tragedy, most definitely. But I am convinced that the planes' impact, the resulting fire and loss of the fire retardant material, caused the subsequent weakening of the supports thus causing the collapse of both towers.

"Charles Taze Russell was a 33rd Degree Freemason"

There are 33 degrees in Masonry. The most the average Mason can acheive is 32 in either or both rites (Scottish and York).
The 33rd degree is honorary and only conferred on extraordinary individuals who have devoted their lives or made significant acts toward the good of Masonry.
When people can't even prove for a certainty he was even involved in Masonry I sincerely doubt he would ever be conferred with a 33rd degree. I personally do not believe he had any association with Masonry at all except in recruitment attempts to bring Masons into his 'new religion.'

In 1987 on Friday the 13th my father was airlifted to the hospital for emergency surgery for an aneurysm of the lower aorta. He survived.
In 2004, on Friday the 13th my father died from cancer.
I just don't like the combination anymore.
