how much increase does one need to even have a .1% growth?

Actually a spring can start off with sweet water and then start spewing out bitter if the spring is tampered with..or if radiation gets into the ground surrounding the spring. What started out as earnest bible study in the mid 1800's (sweet water) was tampered and polluted by mind control megalomaniac freaks (bitter water).

First off I don't believe a word you've said on any of your posts...I think it has all been an insidious attempt, ( a rather creative one though), to spout off your JW rhetoric, that has NO foundation in actual truth. Anyone that claims to have an open mind and does the fair and balanced research, with all you have at your disposal, would make the decision you have. Rest assured there is at least ONE person on the board who has seen through your ruse. I'd wish you good luck, but not only do you not believe in luck, but you obviously wouldn't know what to do with it if you had it.

I was an adult when I read it---and I never "got it" either!
C'mon, isn't it obvious that the seven trumpet blasts described in Revelation refers to Bible Student conventions in New York and Ohio in the early part of the century? Where they "Rocked the Nations'?.....with their condemnation of false religion. It's sooooo crystal clear to me....ugggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

personally, i'm basically just curious.
i've been out of the wtbts for a long time now [25 yrs] but my mom is still active and some of my relatives are also.

JW Underground
by Hondo ini recently read an article about jw's that, if had the choice, would probably leave because of the deceptions, lies, etc., but don't because of family, friends, prestige, whatever, and instead lead a make-believe life going through the motions of being a loyal and believing follower of the watchtower organization.
most of those purported to be part of this non-believing/participating, but attending, jw population, are folks that have been associated with the jw's for a number of years, but, as many have, decided that the lies and constant changes (new light) just don't make sense anymore.
i would suspect that identifying those who just "go through the motions" of being a good jw would be difficult.

I think that is a great idea.......Petting the eyebrows three (3) times in succession, and then nodding yes. I hope to see this at the next convention up in Janesville, Wisconsin. If an Elder tries to bust you for it, it proves they were on here..Which they shouldn't be. I'm being basically forced to go this excruciating event in a couple weeks. But I will be presenting my "report" to the board upon my return. That is if I make it out alive. Integ.

How would a JW handle this? 587 proved correct date for fall of Jerusalem
by confusedjw inso i put it out to you who believe the wtbts is the agent used by god's channel on earth based on the belief that in 1919 (3 1/2 years after the gentile times ended in 1914, per pastor russell) they were appointed the fds.. what if it was proved that not 607, but 587 was the date jerusalem was destroyed?
would that affect your faith?
would it matter that the teaching of 1919 turned out to be false?
