  Consolidated Guerilla Apostasy Tactics for 2005 District Conventions

  we've had several very interesting threads going on about how those of us who are still on the inside can work to open the eyes of the witnesses at the district conventions this summer.

  since people have been making scattered suggestions on scattered threads, i thought we should start a consolidated thread here that lays all the options out on the table for those that want to be a part of it.

  here are the ideas that have stood out in my mind so far (please add any that i have missed): .

  "You guys, you'll never guess what I read on this aposta -- I mean, um, I heard that -- er...Hey, where are you guys staying for the convention?"

  You know what??? That is sooooo funny yet soooooo true. That's the beauty of one of their own stupid policies coming back to bite them in the keyster. Do you think the wts will ever say; "While it is true dear brothers, that you should avoid all apostate reasonings, if you DO happen to come across something that would be of interest to us and our efforts of protecting the flock, the best course of action would be to come forward and tell us about it. With no repurcussions."

  WTS Recognizes that Millions have Left the Faith

  at the portland maine district convention that was held this past weekend, brother buck from brooklyn bethel gave the last talk on sunday.

  in this talk he mentioned the "millions of people that have left" in the recent past.

  he also mentioned them in the concluding prayer.

  ...or: "Did you know that the Watchtower Society was a non governmental organization with the United Nations for over 10 years, and continue to lie about the reasons why to this day?.. Maybe you should look it up on the internet (if you have the guts), or write the Society and ask them about this, then look it up on the internet to get the real "Truth".

  I don't know...I'm just throwing out ideas.

  WHere do I put it?

  Just a suggestion; how about just a slip of paper that says; " Hi Mr. money counter. Please inform the District Overseer that there are dozens of apostates in your midst today. You can't tell by looking at us...but we're here, and we look just like you or your wife, and we have no intention of giving any money to the Watchtower Society so that they can pay for all the lawyers they need to defend your sick pedophile policy in court".

  Richie,

  It's a great idea but........Please put something about the UN fiasco on it, I personally think it would be much more effective.(imho). I don't know how many people know, or really care about Beth Sarim. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but the UN thing seems to be much more "timely",( to quote a witnessism). I'm IN on this.

  does anyone know where i can find any information in any of the watchtower material in regards to pinatas???

  i have heard that the society did a flip/flop on the issue, saying that it was okay to celebrate it now, explaining that we shouldn't be so nit-picky about how a practice was celebrated in the past, and concentrate more on what its meaning is today....that despite the pinatas' pagan roots, the practice of celebrating it or whatever, does not have the same meaning today, so it's up to an individuals conscience now.

  I've asked this question before, but have not received any response. Is it true to anyones' knowledge???????, and if so, where might I be able to locate info about this, I'm using it to help poke holes in the current society stance on "worldly" holidays.
