  according to the "revelation - it's grand climax" book on page 116 par.9.

  it says that when jesus annointed ones have been tried and sifted, then they will recieve a "permanent mark' on their forehead that they have been tried and found worthy.

  they can't then lose their salvation.

  Do you guys really think that God wanted us to have to sift through all this stuff to find His real message?

  Two things are all one needs to "save" themself IMO;

  1) Unconditional Love

  2) Unconditional forgiveness.

  I'm having a real hard time with the whole forgiveness thing when it comes to the witnesses. It's hard to listen to some jackass Circuit Overseer give a mind controlling talk without wanting to run up to the podium and choke the hell out of him.

  Obviously I need some work. But if I can get over this hatred of the lying, conniving, double-speaking, witnesses, I think I will be able to find true peace.

  To me they are the biggest liars in the world.

  By that supposition one could suggest that the people on THIS board secretly have doubts as to whether the Wts has the "Truth" or not. A lot of people on here do a lot of reading of Watchtower literature and so forth. I think that there are actually folks on here that do harbor secret doubts as to whether or not they are doing the right thing by leaving the borg and getting on an apostate web forum. That of course is just my opinion and not based on any factual evidence I can present at this time.

  i think the main reason is not because of what they bible teaches, but rather what it leaves out.

  the other myths of mankind over explain everything to the point of absurdity in later generations....

  I think the Old Testament is just a collection of Jewish folklore, or at it's best validity, a historical "record", but I think there is a lot of good that comes from the NEW Testament (Greek Scriptures).

  I believe that Jesus DID exist, as well as the apostles, but even if you disagree with that, the witnesses believe that Jesus existed, but they have defamed, and belittled and twisted His message. Witnesses say Jesus' main focus was to preach the "good news", when in reality it was all about love and forgiveness.

  It's one thing to lie about stuff that doesn't involve God, but the witnesses deliberately, and knowingly, defame Him, and lie about Him to promote their own devious agendas. You can debate whether there IS a God or whatever, but IF there is, the witnesses who are running this evil scam are in deep shit!

  And the witnesses can't have the "truth". Any religions that have restrooms that smell like that have to be from the devil. Just walk by the womens' rest room during the afternoon session at a district assembly. Only Satan himself could spawn such a horrendous stench.

  to what degree does the watchtower want every member to think alike?.

  they will tell you what music you shouldn't listen to, what movies to avoid, places not to go to, tell you not to vote, and which poeple to shun.
