Who/What is the faithful and discreet slave?
by KW13 ini know its not the dubs, but so that i have an answer to any dub.
who/what is the faithful and discreet slave mentioned in matthew?
-

How come the "slave" in watchtower terms, is a group of people who give the orders and make up the rules? That's not what a slave is.

Did CNN's Nancy Grace Cross The Line???

You might change your mind about her if she was employing her terse interviewing style on Ted Jaracz. Then she would be a hero and you all would love her because she would make him squirm like the slippery eel he, and the rest of his evil cohorts are.
There IS a time and place for her schtick, though I can't handle it all the time.

How the hell do you know he had a "problem" with masturbation? Was this common knowledge? It's ridiculous that ANYBODY would have access to that kind of info. It says a lot about the organization I think.
I wonder if anybody knows about my "problem" with diareah???

What is the current light on the "Generation" issue???
by integ inon the watchtower official web site they still hold to the doctrine that "some of those alive in 1914 will be alive when the end comes" or something to that effect, which flies in the face of the 1995 wt article that speaks of "generation" as being something different.. i brought this up to a witness and she said "no way.
the society wouldn't say that".
well...they did, but what really is the current stance on this?

Hi,
On the watchtower official web site they still hold to the doctrine that "some of those alive in 1914 will be alive when the end comes" or something to that effect, which flies in the face of the 1995 WT article that speaks of "generation" as being something different.
I brought this up to a witness and she said "No way. The Society wouldn't say that". Well...they DID, but what really is the current stance on this? What if I posed that question to an elder? Would he confirm or deny this "adjustment". Is it in fact an "adjustment" in belief?
Are we led to believe that the society doesn't know it's on their website?, or perhaps they haven't gotten around to taking it off the site?
Are they saying one thing to the public, and another to the rank and file? If so, isn't that something that would seriously cause a loyal dub to question things?
Is it "Theocratic Warfare"?
What IS THE DEAL WITH THIS?
Your response to any or all of the above queries is indeed appreciated.
Thanks,
Integ.
