Actually if we count the years between Jesus' resurrection, and we divide it in half, and compare it logarithmically with the anti typical wheatlike chaff class, and it's atypical seedling, as represented by it's modern day counterpart, which we can only assume is the restored rebellious anti-typical Melchizadek class, we can note a glorious foregleam of the atypical, chafflike, modern day counterpart, of the loyally submissive, Boaz class, which was obviously last weeks Circuit Assembly.

WITNESS NUMBERS HAVE TO BE GOING DOWN.
by integ inmy mother attended the special one day assembly program saturday, and told me that there were 5 people getting baptized.
now i would think that at least 10 times that amount have either left the org.
during that time, or been disfellowshipped from the congregations in the circuit.

Now I would think that at least 10 times that amount have either left the org. during that time, or been disfellowshipped from the congregations in the circuit. So... "is'nt it the course of wisdom" to assume that the numbers, at least in this circuit, were going down a lot? I would tend to think so. My mom said one of the speakers talked about heart conditions, and how we should be more concerned with the state of our "spiritual" heart condition than our physical heart. And that Jehovah is the great "Spiritual Cardiologist".

What's happened to the preaching work?
by Dark Knight insomething happened the other night that got me thinking.
i met a christian in one of the local malls and he did the usual preaching about jesus routine, trying to convince me that i am a sinner and how i need jesus and all that jazz.
he wasn't a jw, but rather he was from one of the local revivalist churches.. now what i'm thinking is that i've been out of the org for almost three years now.

I think the witnesses would GLADLY just pay a certain amount of money every month just to GET OUT OF going out in service. I'm surprised the borg has'nt endorsed that as an alternative to going door to door. This way the borg still get's their money, and the hapless door knockers no longer have to go out. They could make something up like a person is still SUPPORTING the kingdom work by doing that, and they probably would make a lot more money this way.

If you're a single brother and a pioneer, then it's a great place. But don't think you're gonna switch 'em around to your way of thinking (if you're harboring apostate ideas that is).

Logan,
You realize that your "ungodly" interest in sports will only take you away from the only thing that brings lasting satisfaction..."The Preaching Work". Just thought i'd warn you.

I received this E-mail from a friend of a friend of a friend who was at the secret annual meeting. Here it is:
Hi Brothers and Sisters,
Our 2004 year text, Matt. 24:42, is very timely indeed. As Brother Barr pointed out in his talk, even among us there is NOT A SENSE OF READINESS, as we are always sidetracked by the lures of this system of things. At the annual meeting yesterday Bro. Barr gave a wonderful talk on the new year text which is: Matthew 24:42, (this part only) "Keep on the watch,.....Prove yourselves ready," He spoke about no one knowing the day or hour, only the Father. Therefore the admonition to be ready at anytime or any day. He emphasized that in Noah's day they took no note. They said that even among Jehovah's people there is not a sense of readiness. We are getting side-tracked due to the fact that the end has not come yet. We need to strengthen one another. This reminds me of today's lesson, paragraph 18, "As we walk with God, He delivers us from Satan's world, guides us by means of His word and His Organization, and protects us as a group when we are under attack by opposers. We thus have ample reason to hold on tightly to the hand of our heavenly Father as we walk with him through stormy final leg of journey to something far greater than the ancient promised land- God's righteous new world".
Your Brother,
Jeff
--How spiritually refreshing.
