  Tulsi Gabbard would surely be the best candidate by a mile to stand against Trump. An intelligent, articulate, educated and good looking young woman that speaks common sense.

  Plus, she has been on two tours of duty on Iraq/Afghanistan or some other a**hole place.

  Even though she is from Hawaii (not like Obama who was from Kenya or whatever the Orange Man said) she would be, IMO, a huge VP asset.

  It won't happen, but it would be interesting to have her in a debate against the Orange Man where he pulled some medical exemptions when his number was called ("my foot hurts") against her who volunteered to put her butt into a dangerous place.

  The Orange Man would fill his Depends (both sides) if he had to debate her.

  There is no mention of other people in the room who couldn't eat or drink the last meal.

  I saw one article where they mentioned that they split the desserts afterwards since they were very large portions.

  the watchtower has posted a news item on the coronavirus on their website and officially endorces the advice of who, the world health organization which is described by wikipedia as -.

  Maybe for some of us here born into the Borg we just get flashbacks to the old Babylon book. We have studied that thing 3 or 4 times.

  The UN part was really the harlot riding on the back of the nations and then the League of Nations was formed and then took some time off during WWII and came back as the United Nations which was also the image of the wild beast and in some cases the wild beast and the beast had all of those nasty-looking heads and then the UN will destroy the nations and take control for awhile and then it makes some kind of a deal and teams up with Gog of Magog and they destroy all religions (except JW's) and then they turn on the JW's and that's what starts Armageddon and all the buildings catch on fire and fall on people and they die.

  Palin had her faults but she didn't actually say a lot of the things she's mocked for

  Palin is an embarrassment to the people of Alaska.

  I was there last year and made a point of driving by her home in Wasilla (suburb of Anchorage). Her driveway has hundreds of KEEP OFF and NO TRESPASSING signs. I found it interesting.

  I even had my wife take pictures of me in her driveway holding my binoculars trying to see Russia or get international experience watching Russian planes flying overhead. I saw nothing. I do have some funny pictures my wife took of me in her driveway. But my wife was getting pissed and told me to get back into the car.

  We dropped off the car the night before our flight from Anchorage. On the way to the airport, I told the shuttle driver that we had "visited" Sarah Palin's house. The guy (I think he likes her) just put his head down and said (I'm paraphrasing) "We don't see her anymore up here. I think everyone in her house has been arrested two or three times. She has a real mess." Then he went on about her daughter, in-laws, etc.

  I could tell the guy felt really bad for her.

  I'm not the media. Just stating facts.

  Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - Status Update Thread

  this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

  Just to say The World Health Organization site states that the virus does not last long enough on outside surfaces etc for receiving parcels/buying goods etc sent from China to be any kind of a risk.

  Diogen .....

  I bet if you ask the "experts" at the WHO to open a shipping container from Wuhan, My han, Your han or Someone elses han to physically unload the contents, they would have a much different attitude.
