It aint christmas for turkeys
by Brummie ini just saw a woman on the news standing outside a turky farm shouting "turkey torture"....how dumb is that?...she looks like a real dip...is anyone taking any notice of her?.
she's trying to save the turkeys and they are clucking behind her without a care in the world pecking away at some droppings on the floor.. kinda reminded me how dumb we looked standing on a persons door on christmas day *serious face - cheesy smile* telling em the fairy on top of the tree was pagan and telling adults father christmas wernt real.
anyhow what dumb people we are sometimes, seeing her made me feel a lot better for singing whams "last christmas" at a kareoke with my flies down last year...perhaps i didnt look so dumb compared to others...then again.

GB disassociates itself!!
by lulu indear brothers:
as you have admitted, the watch tower bible & tract society did join the united nations as a non government organization in 1992 ending in 2001, and according to the following watch tower this means that by their own actions they disassociated them selves from jehovahs organization which means that we must treat them like disfellowshiped ones.
in other words they are no longer jehovahs witnesses or have any right to that name.

give it a rest mate.... everyone can see who's talking crap here, why bother arguing with him if it isnt just for the sake of it? he's got his opinions you've got yours, it doesnt chage anything.

yes i agree..... and how comforting it was to be told that those children wouldnt have the urge to get married and that they would always want to be single.

"....for in the resurection neither do men marry nor are women given in marriage, but as are angels in heaven." Matt 22:30
i know that the interpretation of this scripture was a bone of contention with some JWs. i always believed that Jesus was referring to those resurrected to heaven, because if the WTS could apply the rule that the partaking of the bread and wine was for the anointed only, why couldnt that rule apply to this scripture? i felt the scripture was inconsistent in how it was applied compared to partaking of the bread and wine.
i also felt this put unnecessary stress on those who were widowed.

Singing in the Kingdon Hall - laughing
by Pepper inoh my god, i went to a meeting a year ago, with my girl friend, in a town back east i live in utah, i sing in night clubs and bars and have a really great time.
i go to the hall and it comes time to sing, now i am used to really letting it all hang out when i sing, so i give it all i got, i seen all these's heads turn and look at me, they could tell right off the bat that i am not a good jw cause i have a beard like jesus wears, but i know the tunes because i was raised listioning to them, i loved it, they don't really sing i noticed, its sad, cause singing could be so much a part of worship, but its like you can't even do that cause if your a good singer you might stumble the others cause it may be competion, what a bunch of bs, the po, looked down his nose cause i was singing like i had life in me .

WT goofie phrases.
by Pepper ini used to get into trouble for making light of the these phrases that some elders have told me are to be used only gods people.
lol that you all may know maybe:.
"well, brother that is very "commendable," just before the meeting ends the po says to those in attendance "brothers the time left is reduced," i once heard a co say to those seated during one of his talks "well now, we don't want to die at armageddon now do we, well of course not.
