I only fill up my gas tank once a month, so the rising gas prices hasn't been to hard on me. I've tried to cut down on gorcery spending by only buying the nessessities, and not alot of snack food. Cutting back on my morning starbucks and bagging my own lunch everyday helps as well. I am growing my own veggies and fruit this summer.

My Cousin Tells His Mom That Its Better That His Dad Dies Now B4 Armageddon
by minimus inmy uncle who is not a jw looks pretty bad and he's in his mid 80s and in the hospital.
my jw aunt is praying that he'll recover and see the "end" before he passes away.
she's very broken up by his recent illness, recognizing that it might be the end for him.

I've heard similar statements numorus times from JW's. A couple of years ago, a young couple in my town, was shot and killed in an attempted car jacking. They were 'studies' of someone in my sisters congregation. She madet the comment, "It's better that they died before armageddon since they were not babtized. Now they have a chance to be resurrected."

I totally cross Xbox 360 off my want list.
by 5go inmy cousin has one and loves it.
though i don't see why he has had in the shop more than he has played it.
it sent it in threee time for one issue.

I bought a used xbox360 from Ebay and haven't had any problems with it. I've had it almost a year now, and I use it every day.

Does this happen to you?
by dogisgod inlets say you are just happily reading a book or newspaper and on the next page the word "jehovah" will jump out at you (and i mean that it's really there but it just kinda magnifies itself).
samething with kingdumb halls.
you'll be in a foreign community and drive by one and it's like "oh my god, a kingdumb hall!!

That just happened to me today. I was listening to "Thievery Corporation" at work and I heard the name "Jehovah" in one of the songs. I'll have to admit, it took me by suprise.

Yes, my Kingdom hall had a "spanking room". It was called a "mothers room".
My parents rarely spanked me at the hall. They would let me know at the meeting that I was going get a spanking when I got home. No wonder I dreaded going to meetings,,..

Not too many yet. Knock on wood.
A couple of years ago, while paying for items at a pet store, my purse fell over. The only items that fell out and rolled across the counter were a couple of tampons... Of course the clerk was a teenage boy... I think he was more embarrassed than me.
