  The One Thing You Could Never Give Up.

  well.........here i am, a few pints of guinness further on and it got me thinking.. i luuurve guinness with a passion but what could i never give up in a month of sundays?.

  hmmmmmm...well it's definitely not alcohol....i don't think .

  for me, it's my music, my george lowden guitar (damn i've blown my cover) and all the amazing vibes that playing, singing and songwriting gives me.. what could you not give up...........in a month of sundays.. peace.

  Wasabi is a Parrotlet. He's a miniature Amazon parrot. Same attitude and intelligence, smaller body. The pond is a home for 15 Koi ranging from 4 inches long to about 13" long.

  Did you get the new tract?

  just wanted to run an informal poll to see how "effective" or hopelessly "ineffective" the borg tract assimilation drive has been.. i for one, have not received the tract, and i live in densely populated development.

  did anybody get it left in their doors/mailboxes?.

  I have not received the tract yet either. Not even from any of my JW family. In fact, in the last 10-1/2 years, I've only had the witnesses knock on my door twice. We get more visits from the mormon's.

  what's your favourite board game?

  i'm asking because i want to go out tomorrow and buy a new one.

  my kids have re-discovered that they can be a lot more fun than ps2 games and of course it's something we can all play together on a more sociable level.

  Not good, not good at all

  hi guys,.

  sorry to burden you all with this but i really have no one that i want to talk about this with, i'm afraid that i will burst into tears and wont be able to stop if i call any of my friends and tell them what's going on.

  my little sister has been ill with a fever for three weeks, her doctor kept telling her it was just a bad case of the flu and that she had an ear infection, he gave her antibiotics and sent her home.

  if you walked into a restaurant and saw a beautiful woman, would the male member of your relationship say that they felt they were pretty?

  if your a man and your female lover said she thought a movie star was hot, a person she worked with was sexy, would you be jealous?

  i am in a unique relationship, in that my spouse and i do not care about that kind of stuff.

  Can JW's have friends of the other sex?

  we all know that jw's don't make friends out of their religion, but in the jw religion, can members have close friendship with the other sex?.

  my experience in the org.

  makes me say no.. i remember one cold winter, i was waiting for a brother in his driveway, and my car was warm, and his wife was waiting for someone to pick her up in front of her home, and since i waiting in the entrance waiting for her jw husband to come out of the house so that we could leave in my car, so i told the sister, his wife, who was waiting in the cold, to sit in my warm car while her lift arrives, so she finally sat in my car, but when her husband came out of the house and saw her in my car with me alone, although she was seated in the back, he told her, why are you alone with him.. gee, they both knew me since years, and we were good friends.

  I had a really good male friend within the congregation when I was 16-17 He is gay, although I did not know it at the time. No one in the cong. really had a problem with us being friends. We did everything together.. went to concerts,partied at the lake, talked to eachother everday on the phone... It was suprising actually that no one suspected anything especially since we lived in such a small town. Maybe its because they secretly knew he was gay?

  I told my JW mother that I was planning a getting a small tattoo someday and she says "Why would you want to mutilate your body like that?" I couldn't help but laugh.

  well, i had this friend whose mom substituted "piss" for every cuss word.
