  Do you think your JW family REALLY hates you? Or do they THINK they love you?

  i am referring to some of us that have had bad experiences with our jw family and friends.

  even those of us that are "active" but we have expressed certain things about the organization.. do you really feel your witness family hates you?

  or does your family think they are being loving to you by doing things "jehovah's way?".

  I have some light to shed on this. I'm currently living with my mother and as it is, my mother pretty much has NO respect for me.

  I've had CDs, video games and even a video game system thrown away by her, she's unusually slow in letting me in the house during

  wintertime and also, she's particularly rude to my girlfriends, all because I'm not a JW. She used to respect my belongings and my safety before, until I

  stopped attending the meetings. Now, it's gotten to the point where you can outright tell that she doesn't respect me. I cannot count how many times I've been essentially locked out of my house by my mother no matter how many times I tell her that the weather is cold and she needs to hurry up.

  It's unbelieveable.

  Her half hearted attempts at "love" are futile to say the least....

  t. b. bechtel, a city councillor from newcastle, australia, was asked on a local live radio talk show, just what he thought about the allegations of torture of suspected terrorists.. .

  his reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.

  Sucks that it isn't true. Sometimes, we simply have to put the PC bullcrap aside and realize that these terrorists are backwards and have no respect for you, me or anybody else.

  Hoping a terrorist doesn't attack you because you're a liberal is like hoping a hungry bear doesn't eat you because you're vegetarian. It ain't going to work.

  How could any of us here ever actually believe it again????

  i have two df'd friends...one gay....and they are both going back to meetings to be reinstated.

  one has a serious drinking problem and he feels the jw life with friends and family again will help him with the drinking (i would drink even more!

  )....he has some doubts, but believes a lot of it.. the gay friend you would think is full of holy spirit!....i thought from prior discussions she thought it was all bs....but nope, he has just always felt he was an evil sinner and wants a better relationship with god and to be with family....proven it to their self that it is full of lies?

  We can't believe it again because we know how to recognize emotionally charged, vague bullshit yet they don't. Some of us are simply more logical-thinking than the rest of the population, and we can't help but being smart. The people who are stuck in are idiots who deserve their internal conflicts because they refuse to accept that their church is flawed.

  OUCH! This is what I get for riding a bike in the middle of spring!

  today, i was riding my bike with my gf and my bike hit a pothole.

  because my mtb is on blocks so to speak, i had to ride my road bike so the shocks didn't dampen the bump.

  now, here's the bad news.

  Well, now, my "toe" is about the size of a racketball. I'm at the doctor's office right now as we speak while I'm on my PocketPC tethered to a Motorola RAZR. It ain't good, folks. I'll tell you more after they filled me up with pain meds.

  Today, I was riding my bike with my GF and my bike hit a pothole. Because my MTB is on blocks so to speak, I had to ride my road bike so the shocks didn't dampen the bump. Now, here's the bad news. I landed on my right... ummmm....... toe! Yeah, that's it! I'm going in to get looked at tomorrow. I'll give you guys an update!
