vietnam primer is a book full of experience that was gained by soldiers fighting in vietnam.
while that was a jungle war, and the present one is mainly urban, it may still contain some info useful to an army facing gorilla tactics.

You should honestly get to know the guy that he studied with to become a dub. The last time I saw him, the guy reeked of liquor and he was bumbling worse than Ozzy Osbourne.
It's no wonder why Prince (Or whatever symbol he uses these days.) has now turned freakier than he's ever been. (And living in Prince's hometown, I've seen every one of his freak shows on the local news.
IMHO, it's a good fit. A cult that turns people into freaks meets up with a person that's a freak show.

by Noumenon ingreetings - can anyone confirm for me whether these articles were officially submitted by the watchtower society to the un (to keep up their ngo membership), or did the un just use these articles and post them on their website without the society necessarily having officially submitted them?
i guess the wts had to have given their consent somehow, as a minimum.
what are the mechanics of proving one is upholding un ideals to renew their library card membership?

I know this is a UK issue, but this is a similar problem in the USA.
I cannot see why people are sticking up for illegals. The illegal immigrants make the efforts of what me and my family did null and void. Almost 30 years ago, my family picked up their roots from the Carribean and came to the USA, poor, destitute and working at White Castle for money. Today, my brother's a computer technician, I'm studying to be a real estate agent and my uncle is an accountant.
We worked f***king hard to become a part of the establishment here. My dad had to jump through hoops to become first an alien resident and then even more hoops to become a citizen. We weren't coddled by these feel good liberal institutions that help legal immigrants, we had to do it on our own!
These illegal aliens mock the hard work me, my mom, my dad, my brother, and all of my relatives did to become a part of this country. It's telling everybody that all they have to do to become an American is to either be a very good hider or a very good swimmer, and that's not the way we did it!
Ship 'em all back to where they were, and tell them to learn how to do it the legal way!

Hell yeah, I'd vote for him. For 3 reasons:
1. He's actually doing something with Iraq instead of launching a few missles here and there unlike certian presidents I could think of.
2: The alternatives are still living in a pre 9-11 world. Howard dean is a dove when we honestly cannot afford to have war doves. Kerry is a stealth dove. Look what having war doves did in the previous administration. Like "W" said, military and Intelligence cutbacks. We cannot afford to lose any more national landmarks, even if they did do us a favor and attacked DC.
3: When all is said and done, the economic downturn was an outgoing Clinton problem. Don't believe me?

4: Ultimately, all the heat Bush is getting are from Liberals being disenfranchised. Other than that, he's attacking real issues that have been hurting us for the longest time, overtaxation and national defense. All the alternatives have are Veitnam War era politics in War Against Terror times.
I will vote for the man. I would have voted for Gore the first time GWB was up for the presidency, except I was still a dubbie.

Information For Flashers.
by Englishman ini've just read in todays paper an article on driving in different countries.
apart from the obvious statement that europe drives on the right, uk on the left and italy in the shade, i was intrigued that the flashing of headlights had different meanings too.. if you're driving in the uk and you flash your headlights at another driver you are actually saying "go ahead and make your move, i am giving way to you".
it's a sort of gentlemanly gesture.
