The 20th centurey was truly a bloody time in human history. I hope that the worst is behind us but I fear that we still have not learned from history. We will not even accept it's lessons. So then we will most likely repeat the exercises.

The Practice - child molester "not guilty&...

the firm defended a guy accused of repeated molesting a teen-age boy.

the guy even admitted to his lawyers that he did it.

Mulan-I agree with you something is just wrong in "The Practice" Scripts. They are clearly very anti Catholic. They are really over the top in my opinion. And they just always seem to pulg the "You know what" about the "You know who." It is kinda creepy. I guess if I believed all the garbage that the doctrine and dogma demands maybe I would find validation in it. (Does the WTBS own a bunch of ABC/Disney stock?)

If on TV they say that more than the one witness is needed; Well, if you remember the criminal had a history of committing this crime. Why did that not come out. Was there an agenda to the plot? He admitted to the crime. Irrelevent? Why was the prior criminal history only a passing thought? (I guess he was forgiven.)

I plan to write in and ask what the hell they are getting at. I may just stop watching the show. But it is hard to say that because so little is known about the WT loonie toons that any talk is better than none. In "The Practice" episodes about the blood transfusion she just got lost in the hospital and magicly all was better. In reality when people need a blood transfusion and refuse often...They die. My wife was talking to a Dr. a few weeks ago and he said a jw just needlessly died in our local hospital because of refusing to take a transfusion. The medical staff just had to watch this person slowly die. It is so sad how stupid these people are.

And I know that some of you are still jw's in either heart or mind, or in standing and yes I mean you. I know that some of you have family that are jw and yes I mean them. They are stupid. And if more of us were crystal clear on that to ourselves and our jw relatives maybe more lives would be saved. The Jehovah Witnesses are stupid people with stupid beliefs that get people killed for no reason accept stupidity. If it makes me look stupid to say this...Well if just one person hears me and says It's true all that is just dumb. And I am not going to serve or die for stupidity's sake. My pride is not worth my life or the life of my children; And, then accepts modern medicine and gets to see their children and grandchildren grow up. If JW's who face this rape issue then God willing they will not turn to stupid men with zero training and zero intention of dealing with this issue. Instead they go directly to the police and get real help from real people, then I gladly accept the label as stupid or whatever.

The JEhovah Witnesses are freakin loons!

And the word when used by them is only a propaganda thought stopper and used for instigating hate, fear amd loathing. (So Christlike and loving) Only hate filled people need to have words preloaded and implanted in their brains. Much like the KKK loons in regard to hate filled language. And the bonus is to outsiders like me we have no idea what the hell the loons are saying. (And now that I do know I care less than before)

So in closing if you are against the loonie JW's then good. Because folks it is easier to be truly happy and loving without jw's in your personal life. And it is blissful when they are out of your mind. I sincerly don't say that out of spite. I say it out of experience.

Of course if you believe that in fact they are a god by proxy then maybe the word is more close to the truth than I would like to believe. This being to those who say I just can't take the lies, hate, and BS of the Watchtower... BUT I STILL BELIEVE THAT IN WHAT THEY TEACH AND HOPE TO ONE DAY GO BACK (vomit) Ya that person might be apostate as defined. And weak too. I mean (shAt) or get off the pot man.

if you were god what would you have done differently?

i think i would have forgiven adam and eve and the last six thousand years would have been a cakewalk.. i wouldn't have had to send down my son to be nailed to a tree and die a horrible death.

i also would have been much more clear in what i expext of my creation, maybe write a book that could be understood by anyone..maybe i would have sent some of my angels down to the babylonians when they were throwing babies in the fire as sacrifices to say don't do that!!

I don't need to be God. And a god can not "give" people happiness who have free will. They have to choose to be happy. They have to be greatful for today. To many people are not. So not much would change. (If I were)

Having to worry about the afterlife is a bitchly stupid of a way to live this one.

God can be God as I am going to be me. I do not want to be anyone else. Not even God.

What a well writen piece of propaganda. Just enough information to be scary as in "what if" type senerios. You don't know when you don't know how, you don't know who, you don't know where, you can't stop it, it will distroy the Great Satan, Turkey will become a superpower, (that is for the birds). Opinions on Christian Churches and tithing 10% inc

i saw the thread on tbn, and felt this question was a good one to pose to the board.. .

tithing is being preached more and more in many christian denominiations.

a chrisitian is under obligation before anything else to give 10% of gross income to the church.

I am under no obligation to give my money to the church under the guise of a "promise to God." (That is what the church that I tend to attend says now with the new leadership that it is under. ("Faith Promise")

Money I donate to charities that I find just are because of my philanthropy side. Also you will never truly be rich until you decide that you have enough money to give some of it away. It is amazimg what happens when you do that. But the church gets a 10% cut. Well if I want to pay that as a membership then that is the cost that I will pay to join. But, to promise it to God as if that tiething = giving it to God...

it is even hard to tell if this web site is exclusively designed for aggrieved ex-witnesses.

i am at a loss here.

The jw issue really just ticks me off. Who in the hell do they think that they are? Gods servants. Not my God! One does not do evil to others whom do not do evil to them in the name of a good god. JW's hurt anyone that speaks against them. And have no correls about hurting innocent people to try and get at that person.

To that point that as the jw's in my little puny (really) part of the world choose to target me as a example to all others that dare to leave the org. Mind you someone else left not me. For years people who pretended to be so loving were really screwing me behind my back. I felt like it was a conspiracy. And it was! I had promised my in laws that I would not go to internet sites or read books that were critical of the jw's because they are "bias" they asked me to look at things from thier point of view first. Which I did. This included talking to people who have left.

I saw all JW material was completely bias. To the point of black propaganda. I think that 10 years is a pretty good head start for the dub side. But that was not good enough. I refused to do the indoctrination part. For that I was labled a stupid bigot. All I ever did was be kind to these people and they crapped all over me. I had the nerve to tell them that they can not indoctrinate my children. THE NERVE!

Now this is not a bitching post I do have a point. This year I read COC and started looking at so called "apostate" (I dislike that word) sites. Every site I went to there were experinces just like mine and far worse. I thought that my son being hit a few times by father in law was a one time occurence and isolated to him. It is not, JW men hitting women and children is a common occurence. In fact it is expected. It is called "keeping them in line." I heard that a lot. But I had no idea it was part of the secret language. Oh ya they have a language all their own. And words that have one meaning to the world have different meanings to the jw's. And the sex abuse scandal is at least as bad as the Catholic one. Probably much worse.

(To the above I have since learned that this 6' 180lbs man hit my 3 year old maybe a half dozen times that I did not know about He also hit my wife as she was growing up....One day he and I will discuss this behavior on an=scale) But, I hope to never see him again. I have made is clear as crystal that he is not welcome at my home nor is any jw.

Reading and studing freely I know that the JW's are nothing but a control group that think they own God. And that is really pathetic.

Again Buck I ask you what do you know of them?You say the world is soooo mean to them. Ever wonder why that is the appearence? The hostility is not physical for the most part; Do you find critical information bias because it is critical? It is hard to find truth in a lie if you know that you are being lied to.

The fact is most of the people that I talk to that have dealings with the jw's and left have suffered AT THE HANDS OF THE JEHOVAH WITNESSES!!!!

The reason that so much of the information is so anti Jehovah Witness is because they really are that bad!!!

You did not answer my question. What do you know about them? If you are going to come in here and troll then it is you that is bias. It does not matter to me if that is what you choose. I know more about the Witnesses than I ever wanted to. They pushed their belifes into my life not the other way around.

Do you believe that they are tolerant? You seem to be here saying that they are a victim. They are no ones victim. They have put themself in a position that you must believe them or you are a bigot; See thing in their perception or you are wrong. They produce an opinion as fact and then challenge anyone to disprove it. Which I am here saying OK I will. Jehovah Witnesses and all of their doctrines and beliefs are false. The men in the religion made it up as they went along. And, that is what they are doing to this very day. Now buckthesystem prove that I am wrong.

had to take a much needed vacation to clear my head.

man it has been a crazy month.

i actually got the courage to tell my mom that i don't believe all that jw crap, and boy did she blow a gasket.
