please stay away from arguments in this thread.. i'd like to know what type of political philosophy you enodorse, not just some results from an on-line test.

furthermore, i'd like to know why you feel the way you do and what criticisms could be laid against your philosophy.

I'd like to know what type of political philosophy YOU enodorse, not just some results from an on-line test. Furthermore, I'd like to know WHY you feel the way you do and what criticisms could be laid against your philosophy. (If you can't name any criticisms or drawbacks then it's nothing more than an ideology -- no thanks)

On economics, do you favor totally free markets or a redistributionist system (socialism)? Is there a happy medium? It seems to me that some libertarians take the capitalist view a little too far, to the point where it seems cold and heartless. (I read where one libertarian thinker said that the only social responsibility a corporation had was to deliver a profit to its shareholders. Ugh) On the other hand, radical leftists seem to be overly sentimental about certain issues to the point of being unfair to others.

On international agenda setting: should the US get more involved in global affairs or should we pursue an isolationist course?

I think the enviornment is one of the issues which needs to be given our attention for the VERY SURVIVAL OF OUR SPECIES. What measures can be inacted to drastically improve the situation without drastically ruining our economy.

The foundation of a democratic society is communication. Enlighten me. Let us reason.

Sox, Cubs......I Believe

i believe in curses.

the billygoat.

the bambino.. the sox just lost to the yankees 6-5 after leading by three in the 8th.. we all know what happened to the cubs.. and i believe in the rally monkey too, from last year's angels (though i guess he's looking for work these days, poor little fella).. this is all in kidding, but it does make me wonder.....are some teams "cursed"?

I think the curse just might exist, that is, psychologically -- it's all in people's heads, if this includes the players does that count as being a "curse"?

what percentage of witnesses would you consider to be a "critical mass?

How many GB members were converts? How many are 2'nd generation?

i know that fred franz and karl klein were both converts to the jw religion, although klein was quite young when he became a dub if memory serves me correct.

both are dead and have reached their heavenly reward, though (hahahahahahahahahaha).

what about those alive today?

It seems to me, and I could be wrong, that most, if not all, members of the GB were raised in the Troof or became dubs as children. Does anyone have any input on this? Perhaps some of you ex-bethelites know.

This might be enlightening for reasons which I can mention later.
