  i had a friend call me the other day(monday).

  he asked me if jws feel they are ministers.

  then he told me to go to john 12:26,(nwths)..it reads....," if anyone minister to me, let him follow me, and where i am there will be my ministery also.

  Watchtower Teach That Jesus Is A Spirit?

  many witnesses say that when jesus was resurrected he came back as a spirit.

  yet their own authority, new worlds translation of the holy spirit, state different.........."see my hand and my feet, that is i myself; feel me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones just as you behold that i have.

  Resurrected= return from the dead

  Reincarnation= embodiment in a new form (especially the reappearance or a person in another form)

  So..what does the watchtower teach? Reincarnation or resurrection? The Witnesses teach that Jesus came back in another body....meaning reincarnation..And I was taught, Elders told me, that Jesus came back as a different person..isn't that reincarnation?

  I had a friend call me the other day(Monday). He asked me if jws feel they are ministers. I said, yes. Then he told me to go to John 12:26,(NWTHS)..it reads....," If anyone minister to Me, let him follow Me, and where I am there will be my ministery also. If anyone would minister to Me, the Father will honor him."

  So I said, most JWs I know are ministers and what does that mean? He said Jesus is in heaven, right? I agreed. Then he remined me that ministers will be with Jesus in heaven, as the scripture stated.

  HE was right, yet the watchtower teach that the JWs will live on earth. Where Jesus is so will His ministers, also.

  i know 1914 and i know 1975.. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.. for the first time in 3 years a witness i know wants to know my reasons for not attending meetings anymore.

  i want to have my facts straight.. or if anyone knows any good links already answering this question it would be appreciated.

  Let cut JWs some slack on Christ's status. They might be right.

  the alternative light i have received regarding early christianity has made me wonder whether jws have unwittingly got it right regarding the status of jesus.

  a lot of strong criticism is made on this forum about jws sidelining of jesus in preference for jehovah the jewish god.

  they have been equated with judaism because of their lack of inclusion of christ in their worship as well as their draconian code of expected conduct.

  Michael Michael who the heck is Michael?

  th jw's teach that michael was the name of jesus in his pre-human existance.

  then why the heck does the apostle john say that michael threw satan out of heaven in 1914???

  1914 was almost 2 thousand years after jesus pre-human existence!!

  This is so neat. Here's another goof the jws make when they try to say that Jesus is Michael.....Russell took---Michael-Jesus-- from the 7th Day-Adventists.

  The 7th Day-Adventists think it's because of Daniel. They, like the jws, assume that these are so. The same thoght applies as the jws think that Jehovah created Jesus to be a God.....

  Judah Ben Schroeder NOT finishing law school

  a few weeks ago there were a couple of threads about the wts and higher education, and some stated that judah ben schroeder (son of the late governing body member al schroeder) was attending law school at columbia university.

  i got an e-mail from a very reliable source today about some inaccuracies in those threads.

  watchtower doesn't want anyone to go to a higher education. Why? Because they know that once you go to college you'll realize you'll need to defend the watchtower and you'll began your research and you'll find out, defending the watchtower and how much the watchtower disagrees with the Holy Bible...(not the new world translation of the Holy Scriptures)

  Higher education gives one an insite on many things. You learn and grow. You become enlightened and you know more. That's what companies need for you to know. You'll discover how to do the proper research on your topic...

  reguardless if you do the research on the watchtower in college or later in life, you'll learn that the watchtower does teach a different gospel.
