A Christmas Angel Appears in the Heavens...

this beautiful cosmic "angel" is a uniquely symmetrical cloud of superheated incandescent gases that glow around an exploded and dying star at the center of the mz 3 planetary nebula in the norma constellation 3000 light-years from earth.

if we were there is wouldn't seem so delightful; a seething cauldron of ionized matter.

ooooooh... ahhhhh... hell is beautiful - from a distance.. image in 1997 and 1998 by nasa, esa and the hubble heritage team (stsci/aura).

i was wondering how long an inactive witness can stop going to meetings before the elders can disfellowship the person?

some are saying that the elders will visit inactive ones in jan,feb,march.

is there a strategy up their sleeve?

i wonder if its because of a deeply instilled fear of armageddon. if your names still down you will be ok, just in case it does happen.

i was thinking.. ouch!!! it seems established here that the general consensus is the jws have it wrong. however, you guys, (most of you!) have it right. why not have a section of the board that has subjects that are have either been proved if thats possible, as most people seem to be looking for answers still. or are there no definitive logical answers at the end of the day?

if you are a theist and i assumed for a long time i was, this means we were acknowledging that there is a singular god as creator.

now that your thoughts have changed do you question whether all of those years of heartfelt prayer, and pouring out of your inner most thoughts to (jehovah) god were actually transmitted?

is it possible that if we trully believed in our minds heart that what we perceived to be the "truth" in the jw org and the only way in which to reach god, that god (jehovah) would have accepted our prayers as sincere, and the context or the avenue in which we reached him was irrelevant?.
