Well with out sounding too corny I was intending on "playing a few games" to liven up the evening....
If I could also get a idea of an amount people are willing to pay for in regards to accomodation that would be extremely helpful as well..
Beck, if you are serious about your skits, send me an email of what you had in mind.. Im thinking skits that totally just rip off the dubs???
*laughs evily*
Mac - if you turn up I will have a kangaroo for you to ride! That is another promise

Do you think I should be leaving it a couple of months?? Say March or April? Tho you dont want it getting too cold.
I want as many people there as possible. I am planning on doing an all day saturday/sunday thing.. Not sure what I am going to do yet but I know there will be plenty of drink and laughter!!
That is a promise!!
I am looking around for motels etc that I could get a group deal at for cheaper prices. So the more that will be there the better it will be for our pockets.
hey beck, haven't seen your usual 10,000 posts a day for the last couple of days?
hope you are ok!!!!
wasn't it cool that the dead jockeys brother won the big horse race!
Welcome back Beck
Glad to hear you had a blast. Looking forward to meeting you in Sydney for our Apostofest

For those of you who know of Ex JW's that do not come to this board, please let them know too as we can all benefit from this "get together"
Email me or leave a message here if you are interested.
i was at a party last night and the talk was about the price of this australian wine called wolf blass which was $16.99 canadian.
now a good wine at our liquor store costs around $10.99 give or take a buck, so my question was is this wine more money in australia as well?
unfortunatley i didn`t get a chance to taste it either and wanted to know if it is any good?.
i love a good drop of red but unfortuantely my budget doesnt allow for my expensive tastes.
I quite often drink a glass McGuigans Black Label.
this is just a test post - easilly bored - please avert your eyes.. ***.

minimus posted a thread lately asking for questions you'd like to see answered:.
prisca asked how many online romances there were here.. i got to thinking about that at work, among other things (see previous thread).
and besides the "slim pickings" mentioned by a poster in another thread, another potential problem came to mind.. we can probably divide ourselves into two groups here: the "ex-jw's' and the "never-jw's.
I am with a "never JW" and we met on the internet. At times he gets really mad at the way the witnesses are treating me.
I agree with Prisca.. Our relationship is built on so much more then religion. If I need support with the emotional roller coaster I am going through I come here. I get all the support/ideas/suggestions I need.
My partner would do anything for me. He said he will also support me if I ever wanted to go back.. not that he would like it.
I think if you have a strong love with good communication and trust with your partner.. you can over come anything
Just my opinion
Kelps
i am curious how everyone feels about this subject.. if a family member or another person comes to see you, because they know you know something about jw's, how much should you tell them?.
should you tell everything you know or point them to books to read.............the bible, coc, true believer, etc?
this would be so they could read it for themselves.. if you no longer believe in god or the bible, or both, should you tell them this too?.
I would tell them in my experience it is better not to get involved but I cannot make that decision for them.
Tell them to do research from both sides before making any decisions
