it got me thinking about ghosts.

the repercussions of my argument with my mother on the phone the other week are starting to make themselves felt.

let me be clear: i've been disfellowshipped from the org for two years now.

i'm loving my freedom of thought.. so i was talking to my mom [still in the borg] and started expressing myself on various subjects on which i disagree, or at least see room for philosophical "wiggle room" with the society's viewpoints.

Talk to the guy, you may be wasting your time, or his or both, what harm can it do...you're already disfellowshipped. And who cares anyway.

Your parents obviously still love you mate...and that's the important thing..imho.

according to your teachings, believers, just so he can stroke himself and show how man has failed.

in fact believers will read this stuff and shrug it off because in the future god will fix it it and it just proves why we need god..

Actually I did remember waking up in the middle of the night once, IT was PITCH BLACK see and as I walked passed this mirror I got the fright of my life cos I saw this HUGE green thing floating around in front of me..I ran around scared but no matter where i went it was still in front of me....Then I realised I still had the green flurescent condom on....heheheheh

the elders came over this morning as promised.

he called before to explain why so as not to show up under false pretenses.

he said yesterday when he called, he was with a service group so he said he was an "old friend" and wanted to come visit.

new laws on blood refusal

do you think that there should be laws that forbid either adults from deciding if their minor children will refuse blood, and or laws forbiding minors from refusing blood.

i ask because on one hand i don't know if the law should be able to circumvent parents rights, but on the other hand in a matter of life and death, should we allow children to make a permanent decision(or their parents)about something they may come to recognize later as wrong.

Here in a part of oz they make the children a ward of the state and ignore the jw parents for the period of treatment

This would really suit most JW parents nicely, no parent consciously wants to allow their child to die when a doctor insists that a blood transfusion is the only thing to save their lives.

So the responsibility of deciding is graciously taken out of their hands by decree of law, and they are safe from dishonoring God by permitting a transfusion for the child. That's great.
