  Congregation members too old or too young for you?

  were there enough people in your age/group or did you have to hang around with much older or much younger than you?

  i had that problem in my congregation... a few were my age, but they were married, so we weren't often together.. did you feel isolated in your congregation because of age difference or because you were single?.

  I think you will only see the congregations consisting mainly of the elderly, and people mid thirties and up and their children.

  Young Adult newbie recruits will be rare because people are getting smarter these days, esp with the help from valuable info sites such as this one.

  chins up... the end of the Society is near, the end of the Wicked Nurse Maid that breast fed us is here, now that we eat solid food!!!

  well what movie would you have like to have been in?

  any film, at any time.

  i would have to say any of the starwars films...i've always wanted to whip out my light saber, and make that "arcking" sound they make.

  The Robe......just to see what it would have felt like to be in a Biblical setting, with a wonderful script, props, costumes, Roman decor........excellent movie, one of my favorites.

  well the boat is running the new bike is full of gas the fishing poles and tackle are ready to go(caught seven trout this week and going for more in the morning) ahhahh (let the world go on without me for a little while) maybe you all will get a break from my reteric for a little while.. love ya.

  I know that there is more love here, than I ever found in my Kingdom Hall. I've seen how you all can rally and support one another. and that is a Mark of Christ. Truly.

  I loved how you shared your experiences with me, after my Burger King Post.(How has the brothers/sisters, make you feel unloved, worhtless?) And that was so special.

  Well, I do have a question for you all, and if you can give my fiancee, some support, and encouragement. I always mentioned him as my "friend." but he is my fiancee, and my Best Friend. Hes elumn8_2.

  He was disfellowshipped about 6 months ago, along with me. He's glad he's found his forum. and I'm happy to say, that with the help from the research you all have provided, He has provided research, and scriptures to a prolific writer of the "HERALD magazine, published by the Dawn Students. It will be a Anti Witness brochure, and he's pretty excited.

  Well, I wanted to say that elumn8's earlier posts, got responses, but all he got was teasing because he wasn't good at grammer ansd spelling.

  He writes about the Bible and prophecy, so I dont know if that is too intense, or what. But his latest post got no response, and he thought about not posting no more.

  This is'n't about being "big" and getting numbers, like you used to think, when you had to get your hours in the Kingdom hall, but he wanted to hear your thoughts and experiences, and getting to know you.

  After he was teased alot on his first posts, and have been getting so few responses, he thought you all thought he was a "dumb loser" and he was sad.

  Elumn8 is intense, not good at grammer and stuff, but he's a humble, great, young man, that wants to help you all, for our cause to expose the Watchtower and help heal eachother.

  Can you all say an encouragement to his post on page 1750, titled (666 THE MARK, but who? part one.).

  He's only 20, and gets down in the dumps so easily, but I know I can count on your help to rally around and encourage eachother. If he hears from you all, I want to surprise him when he gets home from work tonight, Also, along with the surprise that I found out that i'm pregnant!

  do you post here with these new ones and lurkers in mind or do you primarily post to share association with friends that you already have?

  thanks, ps... My thanks on all your loving response to my Burger King story. My heart goes out to all of you. and your experiences, you all are so special.

  I esp. laughted at the suggestion of buying the tightwad elder some Burger King gift certificates, so he'd be more inclined to help someone hungry.

  I really enjoy your aupport and love and think we can all encourage one another, esp after our pain of being a JW, and feeling like no-one cared or listened to you back then, when you had an inkling something was wrong.

  I always felt like a weirdo, and oddball, being a Witness, and it wasn't from the world, but my own congregation!! I bet you can relate. I always tried to reach out to the other unpopular, less acitve, "stellar " brothers and sisters, and I guess this made me unpopular.

  Also I always had the "questions" about doctrine and stuff, so I was probaly already marked as a potential "apostate"

  Anyways, I'm sorry, I go on, just my feelings coming back when I felt like I didn't fit in.

  I need your help though everybody. My friend elumn8 is trying to fit in on this board, and he was disfellowshipped about 6 months ago. He is a bonafide newbie, and is just starting to post, but recently thought about giving up, cause he doesn't get much response.

  He has low self esteem, and he's only 20. He writes about the Bible, and prophecy, so I don't know if it's too intense or what, but maybe you can drop by and say "Hi"

  His post is on 1751 titled 666 THE MARK, but who? part one.

  I'd give you all a kiss, if you can all say at least a Hello. and short comment. Cause he's kinda sad.

  Mystery,,,,,,,Ummmm, DUDE,,,,Elum is AGAINST disfellowshipping. He quotes Paul, than contrasts that with the anti disfellowshipping, (Do, not judge others) quotes from Jesus.....

  Just making sure you understand.. Elum was dissed, now he's P*ssed. So just making sure you can have that clarification, if it wasn't that clear.. Elum is anti-Witness...thanks...

  When did the Brothers/Sisters, make you feel UNLOVED,WORTHLESS?

  i felt worthless, when i was a new auxiliary pioneer.

  i was having some personal problems, but i was so eager to try my best, and doing quite good in the hall.

  i was in a new hall, with a new bunch, and always out in service.

  Linda,that was horrible,,,, is this High School Gym Class, or God's People? Sheesh.....horrible!!! I was the last one unchosen for gym teams and had to just stand there, wanting to die.... well....I better let you all post now...
