Neighbor told a JW off !1
by mommy1 inmy neighbor told me today that last saturday the witnesses had been on our street.
i wasn't home at the time.
he said he told them about the dateline program and that he had seen the silent lambs web site.

Today is my sons birthday

Hi Guys! I thought since all of you were so wonderful telling everyone hapy birthday, you might do me a HUGE favor. Today is my sons 11th birthday, first celebrated birthday since leaving the hall. I have a huge suprise party planned for him this weekend. We are having his football team (14boys) over for a bonfire in our back yard. But i thought he would get a really big kick out of seeing his name on here with some happy birthday wishes.

Englishman, very good post. I do believe that we should rejoice in the experience of bad decisions and mistakes. Life is full of them, and we will probably still make some more along the way. I am the same way you are in my marriage, i had to have a bad one first to appreciate the one i have now. He is the love of my life. As far as religion, i think i am burnt out on organized religion, and just want to enjoy life for once. I can honestly say i was one of those jw's that got baptized to please a family member and my heart wasnt in it, so therefore i was never realy happy as a witness, so now we are just trying to have lots of fun with the kids.
Live and learn, thats my motto!

Dia, I couldnt agree with you more. The reality of each individual person inside is that we can show love and kindness to each other and it really makes us feel good. I believe that if we show kindness to others, it will come back to us. The problem with the jw's is that they are so self rightous, they never take the time to stop looking down their nose at people long enough to find out who that person realy is, and what is going on with them. Nice post dia. We would all do ourselves good to spread a little kindness around to each other.

JW Youths Funeral: "cause he wasnt going t...
by mamashel inthis is just an update on an earlier post about jw youth dies in car crash.
long story short, he was killed when his car struck a pole because he fell asleep at the wheel.
his father had recently kicked him out of the house (he was only 18) becuase he was missing meetings.

My daughter and her boyfriend ran into some jw's that knew him and went to the funeral, the first thing out of her stinking mouth was "well, its sad, but he wasnt going to the meetings was he".
She was trying to get the point across to my daughter and her boyfriend that something was going to happen to them if they didnt come back to the meetings. That kind of garbage just makes me so mad, i hope i dont run into to any of them, because i am afraid my rage would take over in the conversation.
Just another stupid scare tactic they use to try and keep you in.
