They were at my door again.

i was doing a little painting at the back of my house and i heard car doors slam.

i peeked around the corner and there the elders were again.. ken p.

You just have to do what you have to. They think they are so righteous it's sometimes not worth getting your blood pressure up over trying to make them take that veil off. They were at my door about a month ago, ( I still can't believe they didn't know it was my house because the driver had helped us put in some of the electrical ) I also didn't feel like talking ( it sort of depends on who it is ) I mailed the WT and AW back with www.silentlambs.org on it.

I RENOUNCE MY ASSOCIATION WITH JWS

it is my pleasure to announce i have terminated my membership of the jehovahs wittnesses.

i shall be formally making this statement known to my congregation at tomorrow nights meeting after i have taken the ministry school.

for many years i have developed my own thoughts on religion and this along with the information i have learned here and on other sites has convinced me that i can no longer live teaching the bollocks the wtbs.

MY husband would always argue with an elder when we were first studying about every point, (we should of done our own research) the elder then said " if what I say is 99 % right then the next thing I say would have to be right.

BadJerry would come right back and tell him," yes, BUT if I find the 1 % to be wrong then I have to assume every point after that is wrong and has to be questioned.

We started finding those questionable things early on last year, the way people were treated, the dat-line pedophile story and it just kept snowballing downhill after that. IN good conscience we could no longer be a part of an organization that was so twisted. And DA'd last Aug.

Can't stand the weight I've gained on my anti-depressant....

...i have my first comedy performance saturday, and i'm 15 pounds overweight.

i don't care that i'm still (albeit barely) in the acceptable weight range for my age/height (47/5'1"); i want to be thin again.

short of not eating for a week, does anyone have any suggestions?

i'm doing Atkins, www.atkins.com I've put off doing this one for so long because I've read it harms vital organs, but documents have shown other wise, it's not NO carbs, it's low carbs. Carbs make your system increase your insilin and the excess is stored as fat. they will mention that pharmacutical substances will make it slower to lose.

the first 2 weeks, carb count is 20 gr a day. increased after that.

people with high metabolisms will lose fast with as much as a pound a day. Me i'm a bit slower with 10lbs in a month.

My mum, done with the JW ?

so my mum is about ready to leave the witnesses.

i hesitate a bit to write it down like that, just in case i might be cheering too soon, but i do believe it is the case...

yesterday i took a ride with my mum in her car, and the new yearbook of the jw was on the backseat.

hi,everyone.i'm just here writing this because i need to vent a bit about this,as well i'm a little worried too.. all my life i have had problems with my kidneys.last week i had an ultrasound and it has shown my right kidneys is failing or not functioning fully.good news is my left one is ok so far...good thing all we need is one.. another thing..is my liver.one of my veins,is swollen.does anyone know what causes that?

?my doctor couldn't or wouldn't tell me what that is.i have to get an other aultra sound in july to see if it is gone or worse.

well ,she is sending me to a specialist to do further tests.

mrs ozzie and i have spent a very happy time with friends from the australian navy and enjoyed a fine meal at a really fine vietnamese restaurant up "in the big smoke".

help what bookstudy book are we in?

i am new here and i usually dont come to these type of places as they are rampant with apostates.

i still belive in most of the teachings but its the people in the org.

that have turned me away.. the reason that i am posting though is this, i have been inactive for a few months now but i have been holding out telling my parents, friends etc.

Hi lost, I think a good book for you to read is from Ray Franz, Crisis of Conscience, it gives an insight as to someone who's been on every level of the WTS, you can order it at www.commentarypress.com . a real .

So many of the WTS books gloat over the fact of what archealogists find and what historians know that they think they already know. ok, but they dismiss historians dating the fall of Babylon to 587 and not 607. why? because it throws off their 1914 date which is crucial to their believes and teachings.

Did I turn my back on Jehovah's True Organization?

i was wondering as i have been lately; did i turn my back on god and am i wrong for turning my back on the organization?.

are there any of you out there that feel like you have a real personal relationship with god with or without religion in your life?

do you still call god jehovah?

in crisis of conscience there is a chapter on how the GB arrives at it's decisions it's by a 2/3 vote. I do believe it's also in Ray's In Search of Christian Freedom. a lot of politics are played at the table and favoritism is shown, little scriptural research is done on a matter.

reading the context of the scripture they site as to shunning it was to be a matter of personal conscience to whether an individual does this or not. Having true love does not involve turning your emotions on or off when one follows a man made decree. Being in the borg and following their laws, It's as if there is a subtle erosion, little by little one relinquishing to others his God-given right to exercise his own conscience, to do his own thinking.

The Prodigal One That Never Went Back...

this is the tale of a young man that had a bright future as a cellist..he was only sixteen and things were looking bright if not for the very one that was supposed to be the head of the household.

we'll call him jack...short for jackass btw.

jack was a violent man, living and conducting himself as an upstanding jw in the eyes of the congregation...he beat his wife, married his 16 year old daughter off to some cretin, mistreated his other daughter, and finally took much aggression out on his sons...well jack did a real good job of beating the hope out of the prodigal one...he gave up playing cello and ran away from home to join the navy during vietnam...the rest of his life was hard and being rather tall, even for a prodigal one, his body got tired after a hard life...congenital lung disease, several bad motorcycle wrecks/suicide attempts imo, he's dying now..on a respirator...to complicate things, his wife of more than 15 years died today of congestive heart failure and complications from open heart surgery....you see, he never went home because there is not one to go back to...his mother died of cancer , jack left his first family and moved on to abuse two others while remaining a jw (not one now as far as i know) and has not been heard from for years.
