Like Blondie said. My comment to my still active JW wife, "the org seems very unstable in this 'time of the end'".

Post New Light Magazine
by Kool Jo inso it seems that most persons just swallowed the'new-light' that was discussed over the weekend...the couple of persons whom i spoke to about it, responded this way:.
"we're grateful for these adjustments"..i mentioned to her that these are some huge changes and you can expect more in upcoming years...to which she replied "we can expect these things in the last days, besides, these aren't changes, they're just minor adjustments"...yup...it was a wtf moment for me...so adjustments and changes are words with totally different meanings.. 2.
"i'm so confused kool jo, do you want us to discuss it together, i really thought this is what we had always beleived in"...i said we can discuss it at a later time...quite interesting stuff.. 3.

When something good happens to a JW, it's only because Jehovah blessed them. When they are suffering, it is because Jehovah is allowing it for a reason. When smothing tragic happens, it's because, Satan was more powerful than, Jehovah doesn't provide protection for individuals.

Do you believe God is using the governing body to lead his organization?
by Zoos inwere familiar with the statements about how a persons claim to be anointed is between that god and the individual.. the governing body went on to say: "a number of factorsincluding past religious beliefs or even mental or emotional imbalancemight cause some to assume mistakenly that they have the heavenly calling.
we thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know.
the governing body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones.

The GB has a list of names of every Branch overseer, Zone overseer, DO, CO, special pioneer, pioneer,, elder and ms but they don't need to know who the annointed, Brothers of Christ are? Very strange since they will sooooooooon be working together after the (new lite) rapture.

After spending 59 of my 66 years as a JW, my greatest fear is that I taught my wife and children too well how to be a JW. I fear that as soon as I get df'ed for being an 'apostate', that they will shun me. Ironic that I taught them that they MUST shun 'apostates' and now I am one. lol
I'll continue to play along until my head absolutely explodes and hope that i will be able to direct them to ttatt.

The WT study yesterday
by molybdenum in( apologies for the large space at the top i don't quite know why .
i sat through the wt study that dealt with all the new understanding.. the conductor started by by saying .
well we wont spend too much time on what we used to believe, we will consider what we believe now.. i took a look round to see how the members of the congregation were reacting to this.. nothing.... .

I asked my (still active jw) wife what she thught of the 'new lite' study yesterday. Of course, she said it was wonderful. I asked her if she thougth that this 'new lite' was TRUTH. "Of course", she said. So then I asked her, "what was it that we used to believe?" She didn't answer.

One last sales pitch for the corporation
by hoser ini went to a jw funeral today.
it was the worst ever.
about two minutes talking about the life of the deceased and the rest about the borg.

When I was still serving as an elder, about 4 years ago, I gave a funeral talk for a dear old sister who passed at 98yo. Much of her remaining family were 'worldly' and/or inactive. Some were still active. I talked about 15 minutes of her life from personal and family experiences and memories. An eulogy so to speak. I only loosely followed the wt's 'infomercial' outline. After the memorial and during the family reception, I was approached by several, including a newer elder, to let me know that that was the best funeral talk they ever heard at a KH. It was 'her' time to be remembered by all not a time to put in a plug for the wtbts.

How about "I always thought I was raised 'in the truth', but can now clearly see that I was only raised as a Jehovah's Witness."

Your poem basically sums up the lives of so many dear friends. Personally I have found a new and better life away from the wtbts. As a lifer-'born in' I spent 60 years following (but doubting) the org. Elder for decades, pioneer, father of 4 dubbers and husband of a great wife for 47 years. My wife knows how I feel about the org. and she is ok with it as I now think she is beginning to see ttatt. I know that my deceased mom would be proud of me for finally opening my eyes fully to the falacy of all religion and especially this one. She was a dub but she loved her family unconditionally and would be happy to hear the ttatt.
With the 7/15/13 'new lite' wt, if it is the truth, then what was it that we had before 7/15/13---the false? So we were raised in the false not the 'truth'?
I hope my dear friends will soon see this bs for what it is.

disfellowshipping untruths
by wallievase inif the whole disfellowshipping arrangement is from the bible, where are the scriptures that say you can appeal decisions or that if you are reproved what 'privileges' can be taken away?
or what about the fact that any offense they want can be lumped under uncleanness and used to kick you out?.

Disfellowshipping may be scriptural, but shunning is inhumane. Yesterday's whiny WT in paragraph #17 was a slick plug by the org.to justify shunning as a "loving" provision to help disfellowshipped ones 'come to their senses'. I also noticed how the org. misused or even twisted the words in 1 Cor.5:6, 7, 11 by stating that loyalty by (disfellowshipped)Robert's family required "not even greeting such ones." The scripture in 1 Cor. 5:6, 7, 11 says 'not even eating with such a man'. O well at least 'greeting' and 'eating' rhyme. 2 John has information about not greeting the 'antichrist'. A disfellowshipped sinner is not the same as the 'antichrist'.
