<div>I love the ideas. I am going to ask if the shoe tying game will be acceptable. I remember my instructor saying something about shoe tying that I thought was not encouraged.
About the alphabet, she doesn't want a game fully focussed on the alphabet or numbers. I should of said that in my first post.
Thanks for the ideas. Keep them coming, please.</div>

<div>Hi all you creative people out there. I have an assignment due soon and I have no idea what to do.
I have to make a homemade game for preschool age children, ages 3-5. It should challenge a child both cognitively and physically.
Any ideas? I'd be forever grateful.
We are encouraged to use cheap, inexpesive but safe and durable materials.</div> -

I just heard something funny on the news...
by JH insince gas costs so much, and people are mad, someone had an idea to get even with the garage stations who he thinks is screwing poeple with high gas prices.
i just saw this on the news on tv here in quebec.. he invites people to go and put only a few cents of gas in their car.
so just now on the news, i saw a man puting 6 cents of gas and he screwed his cap back on, and went inside the garage to pay...lol.

LOL That is very funny. I don't put gas at the pricier places. When I absolutely have to, I only put a dollar in my tank just to ensure I get to the least expensive station.

Katrina Aftermath - whatever happened to personal responsibility?
by EscapedLifer1 inok, all you "bleedin' hearts" get ready to flame me..... i have been watching the developments in the devastated areas like everyone else, and something has begun to strike me.
there seems to be tens of thousands of people who are just sitting around waiting for help to miraculously drop out of the sky, and the longer they sit idle, the madder they get that the government hasn't swooped in and immediately solved all their problems.
i have a few questions about this mindset:.

<div>Where is the humanity?
Instead of complaining about these poor people why not try to help them. Mentor a fatherless child or a low-income child. Show them that they can rise above their lot in life.
I think we need to change our attitudes. Instead of sitting back and saying "help yourself" we should help others to help themselves. We need to give them the tools to to improve.
Why are we sitting back and judging people for being poor, uneducated and helpless we should be part of the solution not the problem.
Of course we cannot help everyone and not everyone is willing to change. But our attitudes need to change.
It breaks my heart to read all these heartless comments. </div> -

they called me to identify the body
by kittyeatzjdubs inthat's what a friend of mine here at work told me last week....this is very fishy sounding to me.... i found the obituary of the victim in the paper.
it appears he had family and was living with them.
why the heck would the morgue call her on her cell phone at 6 in the morning to come identify the body?

<div>I agree with eveyone who has told you to ignore the girl's behavior. I am sure your employer notices too and will solve the situation, hopefully sooner than later.
About calling the family vs friends: I am not an expert but as someone mentioned the Police do the contacting not the Coroner.
Also FYI: You can put "ICE" (In Case of Emergency) on your cell phone with the number of the person you want to be contacted. The athorities and medical people know to look for this info.
My honey works for the Sheriff here in California and he confirmed this info with an officer.

I got a email reply from the webmaster of the site.
Why were my comments removed? I had a legitimate question that nobody bothered to comment on. I was told Jehovah's Witnesses will answer any bible question one has. Is this not true.
Do you people fear the unknown?His/Her response:
First of all , please accept my apologies for removal of your question from "strictly genteel" website. There were other posts which merited removal and yours was inadvertently included. The guestbook, I regret, will have to be removed from the site altogether.
As for answering your question, it is beyond the scope of the website to start answering questions from visitors, however meritorious the question may be. Jehovah's Witnesses make no claim to be able to answer every question. They will, howver, try to find answers to sincere questions. I would suggest you ask the question of the next witness who calls on your door. We do not fear to answer questions sincerely asked. We do, however, prefer to answer on a one-to-one personal basis. Alternatively, you could visit www.watchtower.org.
The website's purpose is to provide older publications for those who do not have access to them, and that has to remain its sole purpose.
Thank you for visiting the site, and I sincerely hope to find satisfying answers to your Bible questions. -

I know it was a month or two before my 14th birthday in 1990.
It may have been Jan 13th or Feb 10th. I don't really remember anymore.
