  after reading francois' last post, it reminded me of how easy it is for jw's to ignore common sense.

  what, to you, is the most ridiculous justification that they have used to refute you exposing their religion as possibly not being the truth?.

  for myself, when i have discussed with them the greatest scandals that have come up lately, (u.n., paedophiles, etc.

  Ray Franz talked about the Governing Body hiding behind the 'organization'. Claiming they are imperfect men but the organization is directed by God so it must be perfect. The J-dud just lap it up. The GB attach God to anything they want the RF to follow. It is a very simple formula if you think about it. Action GB wants RF to embrace; ACT/proposed, plusGOD/GB, equal results. Maverick

  Should the US & Canada use the same currency?

  since a few years, the euro has been introduced in europe.

  many countries share the same currency.. would it be a good idea if everyone in north america would use the american dollar just like everyone uses the euro in europe?

  would this be financially beneficial, or would this be a first step in canada becoming a part of the us?

  There are countries that use the US dollar as their national currency so it would not suprise me to see an Americas currency linked to the US standard. I admit the US paper money is not very colorful. The AU$ and Canadian monies are cool looking and are designed a lot nicer that the dirty looking US$. When I was in Australia I got used to not having a one cent piece or the single dollar. I liked the two dollar coin. It seemed logical to break down the denominations the way they did it. My only problem was doing the conversions from AU$/US$. And figuring out gas prices. When is Britain going over to the Euro? There are quite a few countries that are holding back from enbracing this form of currency. Maverick

  U.N THE FAILED PROPHESY OF WATCHTOWER since Rutherford

  watchtowers failed prophesy of u.n from rutherford-today.

  when you look at wt failed prophecies and their history records it makes someone wonder how come this cult has managed to survive after all this unfulfilled prophesies.. george orwell said: everything faded to the mist, the past was erased the erasure was forgotten and the lie became true.. with the wt this is exactly was happening.. i was reading the book from judge jo light volume 2 1930 and i came across at pages 100 and 101 were jo was explaining the prophesy of revelation 17:8. according to the prophecy the beast was the international conference of piece of hagen est.1899 from russia, u.s.a, germany, france, england.

  (and it was functioning like the u.n. today) but with the beginning of wwi it ceased to exit.then we find the great prophetic explanation that the beast came again to existence with the league of the nations and it was fulfilling revelation 17:8.. but when wwii began and judge jo believed that the end is just months way in 1942well you guess it correct nathan norr came alone and gave another new fulfillment of that prophesy.. he forgot what was the previous one, and came with the explanation that the league of the nations was the beast that went down to abyss and u.n it is the beast that came out from abyss, only to stay a limited time until armageddon.. another excellent example of how wt prophecies act like a chameleon change color when ever it suitswe have almost 60 years after u.n was created and we find that u.n it is another failed prophesy because:.

  The WatchTower overlords just make it up as they go along! Have they ever had even one prophesy right? Oh! 1914. But wait, that was a guess, and the whole premise of a year for a day was misapplied to the book of Daniel, so we can't count that one. Well maybe the True God is just a big jokester, and sends His Holy Spirit signal to the Governing Body all scrambled. Or these guy may need to change the pointy tin foil wraps they wear on their heads to get better reception. Do you think if they slept on the roof at night they could hear better? You would assume by the law of averages and shear volume of revealed truths put forth by means of the WatchTower mag. these goofs would get a hit once in a while! But the fact that they are NEVER right tells me God is in another room and these guys are bumping around in the dark! Maverick

  Thanks Blondie! The WT talk in generalities, citing no specific examples showing their 'read between the lines' mentality. They talk of being couragous, but cowardly dance around the issues with innuendo. If the media and detractors are lying, blast them! It amazes me how they can turn this around as added proof that 'the end is ever nearer!' They have no conscience, no ethics, and no shame! Maverick

  i normally never listen to christina aguilera,but one song by hers just touched my heart..its called "the voice within" omg its weird how music can do wonders and just sooth your soul for a couple of minutes...it feels awesome..i feel i can relate to every single word of this song,its everything i feel and everything i i hope for.well what songs do u really enjoy,that lift your spirits??...

  i know i dont post often but guys,if i didnt have ya"ll to console me at times and get me thru my depression i would be miserable.here i have people who understand,who went thru the exact struggles and troubles im going thru,i want u guys to know i sincerly apreciate it and i mean that with all my heart..thanks guys ((((hugs)))) love,laura, .

  When a song, poem, painting, movie, book or any other form of art touches a person it removes the inhibitors from that ones emotions. All forms of art are a blessing and can open up ones mind and heart. It validates and frees us. You may not even know why you like or dislike some photo or song but it does effect you. Songs can be very powerful, like smells, they deeply link up with our memories. Years later you smell a certain scent or hear a old forgotten song and a flood of emotion and memories rush back in your head. God is the ultimate Artist, and gave us this gift to share and inspire each other.

  Too bad the WatchTower discourages in-depth consideration of worldly arts. They want smooth brains on their Duds! Maverick

  i just left the "truth"a couple of months ago, did some sub-contracting work for a brother ( real self-righteous guy), just recieved a phone call from him saying he will no longer be needing my services.

  nothing to do with my work he said, just the way it goes.
