  i had been in the cult for 30+ years when a watchtower article came out about how a witness would never use any thing to defend him or her self, including pepper spray stun gun.

  and absoultly no fire arms.

  i had followed blindly for years cauz mama said so and mama and grandpa could not be wrong.

  Dear Kilroy2: I grew up with guns and my brother is a retired police chief. I have a 'carry permit' though I carry my .357 only to the range on Sundays. This is what I do instead of going to the brainwashing Kingdumb Hall now. Gun ownership is a personal, and constitutionally protected, right. I think every high school senior should have to complete a gun safety course just like they have to take a vehicle safety course. I don't think we would have the problems with firearms we have if people knew just how serious and harmful they can be in untrained hands. I don't plan to put the True God to the test in having to resurrect me for not defending myself. I'll let the other guy do that!

  If the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses think the resurrection is such a noble concept, why don't they volunteer to test God out on this! They play fast and loose with everybody else's lives! Maverick

  dixie chicks, playing a concert over seas, announced that they were embarrassed that our president is from texas.. why don't they keep their dumb ass comments to themselves?

  why do many of these entertainers think we give a sh*t what they think???.

  play your music, act, entertain us, but keep your yappers shut about politics!

  I've worked for some celeb's, and for the most part they are NOT rocket scientists! The general rule is; the more successful they are, the less contact they have with reality!' Music and sports people are the worst! They may be talented but that brilliance almost never carries over to anything outside their craft.

  And as Teenytuck said about Clooneys butt... well, that is where you will hear the most intellegent sounds most celebs make! Maverick

  Dear Lisa: I feel for you and the years of loss to your family. Your Father and Mother and your children never got to know each other. My own daughter, who was never baptized but was raised around the J-duds, has never gotten to know her Grandparents because of the policies of the Witnesses. Because I am so outspoken about the evil band of criminals up in Brooklyn, I am the worst kind of aspostate. An apostate of the GoverningBodyGod! Better to curse the True God that the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. The True God teaches forgiveness, the GBG never forgive!

  What was done to you, me, and countless others by the GBG is a sin against humanity. These religious thieves had stolen the hearts of their victims and turned these foolish dupes into the same heartless, souless, superficial cold fish that they themselves are.   This band of stooges called the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses have claimed, as proof of their religious superiority, that JW's are different than all other religious groups. JW's are better, cleaner, and a force for good in the community. The supposition is, that Catholic and Protestant groups are 'nominal' and have no positive spiritual force behind them. Yet here they claim JW's to be 'no different' than other religious group in regard to this problem.

  When it suits the Governing Body, they stand aloft, point a finger, and self promote. When there is a problem they jump into the religious crown and hide! Hypocrites, cowards, and sulliers of childrens minds, what a gang of thugs! Maverick

  so many times in the jw, i saw couples getting married.

  but what struck me so often was the difference in age between the man and wife.

  often the man was 15-25 years older than the woman.

  just want to say that, if you can, try to talk to witnesses when they come to your door....don't give up.. a man i met in field service last year actually listened to what i had to say when i came to his door.

  what a sweet man!!!

  he then stood there for a whole hour with me and my friend and we talked about truth.
