Dear Blackguard: To J-dud central we were all acceptable losses. Loyalty is so far down the GBG's hierarchy of values as to be non existent. They require unconditional love and support but give none in return. ...Jeopardy answer; The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. Question; Who are hypocrites? Maverick

Story exemplifies REAL jaydub "love"
by blackguard inthis story is from two melbourne, australia newspapers, march 15, 2003. upon first hearing this story i was saddened.
my mind wandered off subject for a moment as i recalled how similar this story is to real life in the watchtower culture.
perhaps some of you here can relate to this:-.

Subliminal self-promotion
by Maverick ini thought i would try a little experiment.
i saved all my bound volumes of the wt and was curious as to how mant time the writing department of the governing body made reference to the 'organization' in one form or another.. .
i picked a bv at random and read four watchtower articles, (that was all i could stomach), and underlined each mention of the brotherhood is its various forms.

what caused me to doubt the borg 2
by kilroy2 ini had been in the cult for 30+ years when a watchtower article came out about how a witness would never use any thing to defend him or her self, including pepper spray stun gun.
and absoultly no fire arms.
i had followed blindly for years cauz mama said so and mama and grandpa could not be wrong.

Hey Kilroy2 I work up in Indian River the last two summers, love Mich. The people are way cool! I went to the Hall there and half the J-duds work for the other half. Man they rip each other off left and right. And if you are a worldly relative it is open season on getting screwed by your J-dud family! If what I saw was indicative of the new system they are planning for, there will be one carry over from this old system in there new one...small claims court!!! To me the J-dud elders are DNR of the religious world! Maverick

Elder came...grasped at straws...and left. UPDATE!
by searchfothetruth inwell i had a very interesting conversation on friday night.
sorry to be so long letting you know what happened.. only one elder turned up and i was wrong in my original thought that my mum had given him my report, it seems he was coming to ask me to study, therefore he was totally unprepared for what was about to happen to him.
but, i have to say, that he was the most honest elder i have spoke to and i'm sure you will be surprised by some of the things he said.. he started off wanting to know what made me stop going to the meetings and i related to him my experiences of a certain body of elders that had, to say the least, made me realise that they thought that they were a law unto themselves (including stealing, lying and generally being un-christian).

Dear searchfothetruth: I am impressed you put up with this person for three hours. But please don't be surprised if he doesn't come back. If a brother came to me with any version of this and asked my opinion when I was a J-dud in good standing my response would be to stay clear of you. I would have you summond to an inquisition at the Hall and hear you out there. And in the interim all manner of 'facts' would be gathered about you.
When you are dealing with one person the J-dud mind will be more yielding but they gather strength as a 'body'. They have a gang mentality and will plan to use it on you. Be prepared! Maverick

This new light concept would have Einstein spinning in his grave. Could there be some parallel universe that the Governing Body operate out of. Maybe they have a quantum mirror that they look into and see this new light along with Alice and a rabbit holding his watch and crying about being late! The level of delusion that the Governing Body operate on is quite stellar! Maverick

I thought I would try a little experiment. I saved all my Bound Volumes of the WT and was curious as to how mant time the writing department of the Governing Body made reference to the 'Organization' in one form or another.
I picked a BV at random and read four WatchTower articles, (that was all I could stomach), and underlined each mention of the Brotherhood is its various forms. Such as; the present day ark, Christian meetings, the faithful and discreet slave,(my personal favorite), Jehovah's Witnesses, Jehovah's organization, Jehovah's people, Jehovah's servants, Jehovah's Christian ministers, Kingdom interests and Kingdom proclaimers. You get the idea. Each reference had to be contextual in its application to the organization as a whole and not with regard to the Israelites or first Century. Though the Governing Body make assertions of Apostolic ascension and divine blessings from that time on as well.
It averaged out to seven plus reference per article. It is hardly scientific but for S and G's let's just go with that figure. That's seven times fifty two,(even at the Assemblies and DC they cover the WT), equals 364 times a year there is an insertion of this subliminal concept of GOD'S ORGANIZATION!!!!!
And that is one meeting. Do you think maybe the writing department only uses these catch phrases in the WatchTower articles? Scary thought isn't it? Maverick

The "Organization is Imperfect" Fallacy
by metatron inwhen confronted with hard evidence of corruption or doctrinal error, many witnesses are now quick to assert that.
"the organization is imperfect" or "they make mistakes sometimes".
in this fashion, they can retain their extreme allegiance.

The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses remind me of the Wizard of OZ. "Don't pay any attention to that man behind the curtain!" What a bunch of goofs! Maverick

The life they stole from me
by sipho ini have just come across this website and was amazed to read to many similar experiences to what i went through with the 'loving' congregations of jehovah's witnesses.
i have now been gone 4 years but after reading some experiences i realise that the pain they caused still remains.
i am now quite angry at the way they control your life and brainwash you - i am so glad i finally saw what was happening and got out.

Dear sipho: It seems the people with true Christ-like qualities get the worst beatings by the J-dud masters! Purge yourself of the toxic and vile poison you have been fed by J-dud Central. Vent and rant and do what ever you need to cleanse yourself of their smut! Don't beat yourself up over being fooled! Some very bright and loving people have been, and still are, trapped in their web of lies! Please don't let bitterness or frustration take root in your heart. We need good and open hearted people to share our feeling with.
An old proverb says; A shared sorrow is half a sorrow, and a shared joy is twice the joy! Maverick

Which is worse?
by TemeculaMole inif you were to ask a loyal jw :.
which is worse to be disfellowshipped for repeated fornication (and no remorse) or to be disfellowshipped for having an opposing view from the gb such as not beleiving in the blood issue?.
this is pure speculation but i would think that the jw would say the later because your basically an apostate for not beleiving all that the borg says.

The 'sin' of fornication is against the True God. God can take care of Himself. The 'sin' of disagreeing with the GoverningBodyGod of Jehovah's Witnesses is far worst! They will tolerate no rivalry. Commit the first and they will work with you and if you persist, DF you. But the door is open if you want to suffer the dog and pony show they will put you through. After all you are only human. Speak out against their divine position and they will always watch you and never forgive you. You know, (they are a fraud) and when they know that you know, can you unknow ever again? Know what I mean? The game is up. They may be delusional but they're not stupid! Maverick
