I Adopted A Pet From The Humane Society
by RAYZORBLADE inyessiree...i had an afternoon off last friday.
so i decided to venture down to the toronto humane society.
i was so surprised at the variety of animals: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, mice and birds.

does your parakeet have a name? (maybe i missed it - reading quickly cause i have to go).
i adopted 2 female kittens from the same litter. called them "pip" and "squeak". i had pip for ll years, lost squeak a couple of years ago at l8. still think she will come running to me at times.

dont worry. im over it. i can get pretty upset (which I was) but i get over it pretty quickly too. when i looked back at the thread i could almost laugh at it, though it didn't seem too funny at 3:30 a.m. last night when i was in just a little bit of a frenzy.
blackout - i daresay you got your wish and people are noticing you more now. next time you should look over the edge before you leap off the cliff. anyway, i hope we can get beyond this and be friendly again.

false accusations hurt. false accusations do damage. false accusations are more than just silly, they are ugly and malicious. even when a perfunctory apology follows this does not necessarily assuage the hurt or clean up the mess. perhaps this is why one of the l0 commandments tells us not to bear false witness against our neighbors, and, of course, this would also be contained in the Lord's command to love one another.
so. have you ever had false accusations made against you? how did you handle it? how did you get over it? if this has never happened to you what advice would you give to someone who has had it happen?
