i get asked that question alot, some even ask what exactly my purpose is!
i can live with it.. if i had to answer my own question, i'd have to say it broken down into a number of points.
a. i like to see what the latest stuff is happening on the "apostate" side.. b. i like to watch the politics of this group.
I came here looking for information on someone and found them. Then I got to reading the boards. Though I am not a former or current JW (never have been hence the name neverthere) my ex's family is/was.
I have found a board here that accepts me, listens to me, likes me (I hope) and gives me quite a chuckle sometimes.

Being a chartered herbalist, I really know I should take my supplements but most times I dont.
The only supplement I take on a daily basis is 4-5 bottles (personal size 591ml) of Diet Coke.

i know we have some absolute absurd laws in this country, completely banale, like it's against the law to dance on a sunday.. what laws do you have that crack you up where you live in which ever country?.

i am not a jw but my mother-in-law is.
since the day her son proposed to me (he is not a jw) she has made my life a living hell.
we have been married for just over a year and have a beautiful baby girl.
What worked for me and my JW ex-inlaws is to display all my books, that is my books on the paranormal. Then they would try to study with me, then I would basically tell them HA, don't think so!
That and knowing that Arsenic smells like raw almonds, you would be surpised how bringing that up at dinner, especially during dessert will stop people in their tracks!
But then again, I have a very very VERY morbid sense of humour!

Hi Mary, what part of Ontario are you in. I am in Ontario too and I have been using Weight Watchers, doing it all on line. You can go to their canadian website log on, weigh yourself, count points on line, chat in message boards and the best part is no weighing yourself in front of others.

my boobs are absolutely perfect but hanging a little low due to nursing and being 40 and i think that around the eyes, i could go with a little lift............ so what's ok with you?
Hey Sally, I think you look fabulous, would never have guessed you at 40!
I think though if you want to have it done, GO FOR IT. I am having my plastic surgery in June (I hope), tummy tuck, after 3 kids, 2 c-sections and a myriad of other "issues" (weight mostly) I am having it done FOR ME!
