I don't know anything about mirroring sites, but if that's possible, that seems essential in case your provider decides to shut you down, not wanting flack from the Watch Tower. I know the Scientologists got a lot of bad publicity trying to shut down people for publishing their stuff. I don't know if it ever did them any damage, though. But what with the bad publicity about the sexual abuse, maybe it would be easier to get papers to pick it up?

Buying out the opportune time
by RunningMan inall of my life, i was told by the society that i should buy out the opportune time.
to them, this phrase meant that i should cut down on watching tv or some other worthless activity, and of course, spend that newfound time worshipping the great publishing company.
well, since i stopped going to meetings on april 10, 2002, i have discovered an entirely new and far more enjoyable application for the admonition to buy out the opportune time.

IJWTS that "buying out the opportune time" is one very strange phrase.

Well, I'm trying to think of what they could have been thinking. Burying brand new planes in the sand?

JW Funeral Update
by smurfette ini just thought i'd let everyone here know that my grandma's funeral went better than expected.
thank you to eveyone who offered me advice and support.
it helped me more than i can even let you know.

Oh, that's the new funeral line is it? If there are "opposers" in your family it is worse than being in a concentration camp? I guess it is ok now that any JWs who actually were in concentration camps are probably gone. That just sucks.

So, if someone gives public talks at his own and other congregations he is at least a MS. Right?

Oh, rats, one more question. Can an 'ordinary brother" do talks, lead TMS meetings, etc?
