I don't remember where it was, but someone posted within the last day or two something about a CO in northern Texas actually discouraging people from taking care of refugee JWs. It really saddened me, so I'm glad to hear that most JWs are more like normal people and welcome opportunities to help in the face of such disaster.

At home recuperating from my surgery

i had the surgery on friday and i am doing well.http://www.spine-health.com/topics/surg/overview/cervical/cerv03.html.

just really sore but able to walk and get around the house.

the neck brace is the killer, i was itching and broke out in a rash.

Family tragedy.........HappyDad

got a phone call from my daughter who lives in florida a couple of hours ago.

her significant other who i chose to call my son-in-law (because he is the best thing to ever happen to her) got a phone call that his 6 year old daughter was killed in an auto accident near lake placid, florida and his 5 year old son is in very critical condition.

the ex wife is also critical.

Looks like this one will test the theory of whether or not New Orleans can survive a direct hit from a hurricaine. Of course, I hope the theory is wrong. But I'm very afraid it's not.
