  i hardly feel as if i've been here long enough to merit this announcement, but just in case.... i'm going to be moving 1400 miles in less than 2 weeks.

  between getting ready to move, finishing up stuff at my workplace, moving, and starting grad school, i have no idea how much i'll be around.. .

  so, just in case i disappear and someone wonders where...that's where =).

  50 years from now ! What will the Watchtower say about the 1990's 2000's ?

  if russell , rutherford and even knorr's work is considered misinterpeted, or overzealous, or they didn't have a complete understanding of the scriptures (even though they were of the annoited class).

  can or will the same be said 50 years from now about today's publications.. this really intrigues me, i love reading the history of the watchtower and looking back at some of the beliefs and predictions.

  i really appreciate the 1975 stuff more today then ever.

  What do you mean, new light? They will be saying Armageddon is SOON is 50 years just like they were saying 50 years ago and are saying today. And 150 years from now, if (God forbid) there is still a WTBTS, they will STILL be saying Armageddon is SOON.

  i longed for the day when the last of the anointed remnant was on his/her death bed and all of the witnesses awaited to be swept away into the new system.. who knew that they could just, with one stroke of "new light" change everything and do away with this hope/doctrine.

  how many times did i preach it from door to door and misrepresent god and the bible!

  "this generation" apparently refers to the peoples of earth who see the sign of Christ’s presence but fail to mend their ways.

  For those who don't already know: The word "apparently" when used by the Writing Department, is synonymous with "we don't really have a freaking clue."

  just for the fun of it, i typed my aka (outoftheorg) into the msn search engine.

  it brought up one of the lasts posts i put on this forum.

  i tried it on google and got nothing.. then i put in outnfree on msn and 3 of his posts on this forum were displayed.. it only displays the title of the thread/post and the url.. what do you think?
