Complaint procedure question

it is almost four years since i attended my last meeting, and in that time have had no contact with people from the cong, other than brief meetings in supermarkets etc.

out of the blue last week i had a phone call from a sister in a neighbouring cong to tell me that she was writing an official complaint to bethel about an elder in the cong i attended.

it was about an incident that happened eight years ago when her daughter was in hospital, and that i was aware of.

He might apologize for offending her, or be told to apologize to her for offending her.

Archangel Michael ...

does anyone know if the wts is still teaching that jesus is/was the archangel michael?

i think i remember hearing that they were trying to phase this teaching out.

i can't remember why.

Hmmm, that might be a good arguing point. Doesn't it say in Jude 9 that Michael the Archangel said "My Jehovah rebuke you" because he couldn't, but while in the desert being tempted Jesus commanded Satan to leave him and he did. So Michael the archangel didn't have the power to command Satan, but Jesus did. Wierd to me, it doesn't seem like they're the same person, but whatever.

I got my father's sense of humor for sure. Fart jokes just never get old. I got my father's burning need to win every argument, and his debate skills (my mother is horrible at it). I got my mother's taste in food and my mother's work ethic (I could be shot 17 times and I'd still probably make it to work), but I got my father's love of work (I may be there, but I complain the entire time).

For the looks department, I got the crap of both. My father is 6'4, I'm 5'9. My father has nice olive skin, I have the complexion of paper. My mother has blond hair and blue eyes, I got dark hair, though my eyes are emerald green which isn't too bad.

Rock On! That's awesome you're doing so well. Working at a magazine? That's a tough business to get into to begin with, so yeah definetly go rub it in. I used to hate going to Portland back in the day when I used to work the armory every month because there was never anywhere to eat. I used to get stuck at Denny's without fail every time LOL. I say since they've shunned you, you should let them see what it's like and bring them to Dick's Last Resort, that's not a very far ride away from Portland anyway if I remember

Yeah, I made a joke when we were fixing up the hall when a cricket came by, I said to check it for a human head, lion's teeth, a breastplate and a scorpion's tail. I guess you can't make jokes about Revelation.

went to the chemist the other day parked near my brother in laws car in car park.he saw me and turned away.my wife went into chemist had to wait 10 minutes all the time my elder brother in law sat in car.we moved closer to supermarket as soon as we had moved i watch him go into chemist he was waiting for us to leave so he could go in.. i then went into supermarket i watched him do a whole lap of the car park walking so he wouldn,t have to walk past my car with wife and kids in.

he thought the coast was clear didn,t know i was in there so i ambushed him in an isle smiled said hello he smiled said hello then the jw shunning part of his brain kicked in head down walk straight and frown.. saw my mother in car latter and she covered her face .

i think they feel uncomportable.

Everyone has hope for me I guess because I still get waved at and talked to. I just faded and was never baptized. I'm actually the one doing the shunning most of the time. Anyone I knew that I thought were hypocrites when I was in I avoid, but anyone I thought was sincere I will talk to. Word has gotten around now though that I have a "sharp mind" for scripture so they don't talk to me about any bibical things.
