Congrats to you. For me it has been 30 years. Glad to be out, wish my hubby would get out. I pray everyday for him to see the light.

August vacations cancelled

hubby said he wanted to go in september, but gave me no reason.
i finally told him i knew he had to pioneer in august.

Think I will ask one of my girlfriends if she would like to take a trip with me. Think I need to get away for a week. Last year I did go to Cancun with my daughter and her family. He had no interest in going. To be honest I did have a good time, and was glad to get out of the crazy house and be with normal people for a whole week. I will never ask to go on a trip with him ever again.

out4good3, Sounds like a good idea might make some plans and go by myself. Sad part is we were going to visit family that we have not seen in 4 years. We have a wedding anniversay in August, I'm sure that will be put in the back burner too. Don't care at this point I don't want to celebrate with someone who really doesn't want to be with me. Only good to cook, clean, laundry and use my money. I'm done with all the crap. GB is first in his life. I told him if Jehovah and the bible tell you to pioneer in August then that's what you have to do. His reply, never said one word but had a big smile on his face.

Had a vacation planned for August, but got the rug pulled out from under my feet. Hubby said he wanted to go in September, but gave me no reason. I finally told him I knew he had to pioneer in August. Told him this was going to be historic and there are 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays in August. He said he would be happy to take me Sept. 1st. This life sucks and I am really tired of it, I have bent over backwards for him and this is what I get. Really want to know how many JW's have had to cancel there vacation plans.

I threw all of my dresses and skirts along with my daughters and sons clothes all in the garbage. My children laughed all during the great garbage bag toss. We also threw away all of the literature hubby left behind, I poured bleach all over it and took it right to the street. Best day of my life.

Annual Meeting Instructions to MS / Elders
by jw07 inhave any elders or ministerial servants here recieved any specific instructions regarding the annual meeting?
as an ms all i have been told to do is to arrive early to "await further instruction due to the sensitive nature of my assignment".
ironically all i can imagine after hearing that a few times is dispensing cyanide laced kool aid to attendees.

Just told my husband about the special meeting and his response "There is no special meeting". Nothing but lies out of his mouth. I believe he is a ms at the hall and I will bring that up at a later date with him. He also told me he has a meeting on Saturday instead of Sunday. Could they be having this meeting not only on Sunday but Saturday also?

I remember the feeling. Always afraid of men in a position. Remember they are just men and put there pants on every day the same as you. Probably have a few skid marks in there lily white underwear. Tell them to piss off.

Dealing with JW family
by Laika ina little update on my life: a few months ago i was sure i was going to be disfellowshipped as my mum told me that my dad had reported my apostasy to the elders.
however, nothing has come of this so far in about 2 months and i am very relieved!
i am not sure if it was because the report to the elders was just an empty threat to scare me back in, or because they reported me to their local elders and now that i am a member of a new congregation those elders decided they couldn't be bothered to pursue me.

I just don't talk to my husband very much. I can go two or three days without saying a word to him. He has told me he doesn't trust me, resents me and knows by heart condition. All of this happened after I found his patient advocate form. My name not on it and I never knew they had such a form. When I left in 1984 we only had a blood card. This marriage is over, just waiting for the right time to leave. That is how I deal with my JW hubby.
