  You Pick The Witnesses Survey...Fun For All Ages

  as i was cruising the internet one fine day...i happened upon a local radio station website which contained pictures from a local charity event.

  low and behold...to my utter amazement...many of the pictures were of people i knew in my past life as a jw...people who still are active jw's and were always considered among the "spiritual" and "good" jw's.

  so my fine friends...i took two pictures and would like you to tell me who you would say were the jw's and who were the "worldlings"???

  I think depression is going around. I think exjw's are the most screwed up bunch of people I have ever seen in my entire life. We are raised in these little glass houses not allowed to have emotions not allowed to feel not allowed to speak, then that house breaks, and we suddenly are allowed to feel. So where do these emotions go? Where do we turn? We come here for support because... well, we udnerstand the common ground, we understand what the others here are feeling. I seriously wonder how long it takes to heal. I hate religion, I hate it.

  I'm sure all of us can agree on that. Good point moe.

  i was thinking of our friends who were tortured and who died in the concentration-camps in germany and other countries during ww2..and that all in vane as i understand now.. i was thinking of the missionaries of age who are frustrated in their assignments, who see how their lives have gone with no reward and finally without a purpose.. i was thinking of bethelites of age, with no change to go back into real world.. i am glad i had the guts to leave missionary-work at the age of almost 40 and at least have the next 40 years a real life!.

  Very very sad indeed. But remember, this is your life and no one else's. Use your life the way you see fit. You only have one life and that's it, use the second half of it the way you want to use it, this will make you and everyone else here a much happier and fullfilled person.

  a jw relative brought out something i actually had to agree with.

  we were discussing positive vs. negative aspects of the "truth".

  she brought out that the witnesses do not participate in war, and i thought 'gee, that's probably a good thing'.

  How Will History Treat The Jehovah's Witness Religion?

  just as presidents and prime ministers think about how history will view them, one must wonder what legacy the watchtower society aka jehovah's witnesses, will have.

  to some, the witness religion is so irrelevant that whatever happens, it means nothing.

  yet, they have been in existence for over 100 years and according to their records, are still going strong......what will history or what does history say about this religion??

  Thanx Min. Too bad isn't it, that this is only recognized after a person leaves, which really goes to show all witnesses are very controlled if not brainwashed.
