If you ain't a PIONEER, You ain't SH**!!!
by Open mind inmy loyal-dub wife had a wonderful morning knocking on empty homes earlier this week.
last night she confided in me with an observation.
she has noticed what she perceives to be a "pioneer clique" in our congregation.

I went to the Kingdum Hall last night....
by pratt1 inas some of you may know, i have a close friend who is still a dub that i am the "godfather" of his son.
i mean this in the most literal sense, since it is in his and his wife's will, that if anything should happen to them, i would become their child's legal and custodial guardian.
anyway, i wento hear his second minsistry school talk last night and i have a few observations about the meeting.. 1. i was not aware that the #2 talk is now just a bible reading without an introduction or conclusion by the speaker.

Really?? Sisters gave the #4 talk about 75% of the time around here. That is just weird that they didnt' then. It makes the ladies feel as if they can contribute something considering the fact they aren't allowed to do anything else.
I personally think the old ones are getting tired and the younger families that were raised in it and now have families of their own are all leading double lives to some extent. They are JW's only by meeting attendance and by 2 hours of preaching a month.

A time for war at the family reunion-this apostate don't take crap!
by dawg ini just finished another of my famous letters i send to many of my family members... i've been told that i shouldn't come to the family reunion becasue i'm an apostate.
in my letter i stated that i in fact am going to be there stupid watchtower quotes in hand.
the first family member that shuns me will hear me read off every stupid statement that they've ever made... i said that i'm also bringing my bible and that i want someone in the family to show me in it where it states that i don't have the right to question the dictates of men and by my so doing i should be shunned!.

Do you think they will just stop letting you in on family affairs from now on? Like just not tell you where and when?

May I direct your attention to pages 220 & 221?
by NotaNess inof the proclaimers book.
no doubt many of you have read this jw book on the wt version of the history and origins of the society.. my issue is on pages 220 and 221 where they "briefly" show some images of things and practices, that the org has abandoned.
some of these were practiced for many years, and even were at the very creation of the organization.. according to jw/wts teachings and beliefs, this organization has "pagan" origins based on the given evidence.

Girls and slumber parties
by lisavegas420 inrecently my daughter allowed her 10 year old daughter to have 7 friends over to spend the night.
ranging in age from 9-12.. my daughter called and told me that she thought she take them to the "moose" which is a private bar/club.
i suggested she call each parent and make sure it was alright with them to take their children in a bar.

August KM provides solid evidence of declining JW morale
by sir82 inas you may or may not recall, the february '07 km (for the us) had a huge article, taking up the full 4 page insert, on the "blessings" of auxiliary pioneering.
the part covering that insert took up the entire service meeting (aside form the announcements).
the "encouragement" was that the us branch had set a goal of 160,000 auxiliary pioneers for the month of april ("if only one of every 6 publishers signs up, we can make it!")..
