i had an idea that i could build a uk map of everyones location which would show you instantly who is in your area from jwd.. (it might be an idea to do a seperate us one aswell but i'll wait and see if this one takes off first, or if anyone from the us wants to volunteer to do that one).

(and australia but you are all in the same backyard anyway - literally!!!).

Anyone here like jogging?

i started several weeks ago and all i can say is wow!

what they say is true... it is very adictive.

the natural high is amazing.

Used to run a lot in the 80's and early 90's - Marathons and ultra marathons as well as shorter distances.

If I was starting again I would do less road running, especially at marathon distance.

Otherwise they were the best days of my life. I made friendships then which have lasted ever since. Having at that time just left "the truth", they were valued all the more.

The downside? A dozen years of running at that intensity doesn't do much for the joints, so my knees are not what they once were. However, some of us by now have grown old together, so we walk while the others run.

It's not for everyone, but if it suits it's a great pastime, and as a means of getting the weight down and keeping it there it's unbeatable.

i agree with beryl and the poster who said he likes ambivilence.

i honestly do not know anymore and i think that belief in christianity is too narrow.

i do not think christianity is bad or wrong, just that it closes the door to many other possibilites.

anyhow... i was enjoying amazing's recent thread where he picks apart the society's view on masturbation and, like him, realized that female sexuality is seldom discussed.

the only thing worse than vitriol is specious (and, i might add, poorly phrased, punctuated and misspelled) vitriol, aimed at those least deserving.

Is it a measure the weird games the WTS has played with us that notwithstanding my being out now for over 20 years that I can still understand your mother?

All the same I have difficulty believing that things can be the same between you again.

I think you and she may have to have (another) long talk. Sounds like you are reaching crisis point.

If you can take disfellowshipping and the possible rupture of the relationship with your mother you may have to try harder next time!

For real or slip of the pen?

ok in another thread found here i found here http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/55200/1.ashx it references some articles by roberta moore, whos children were killed and she is blaming the wts (and i don't doubt it at all), you can read about it in that thread and corresponding links.

now as much as i feel for this person, because i know, this cult is responsable for countless deaths all over the world be it from suicide, "persicution", the blood issue and the list goes on.

i wonder if these pictures are for real in what she is claiming or can we go to any picture and find hidden symbols that are just the way the picture was drawn, with no real meaning at all.

David Icke is a well known fruitcake. If the world is anything remotely like he alleges then it's nothing like the world most of us recognize. Use a very long spoon. He makes the WTS seem like an oasis of rationality and moderation.
