The attitude of these Dubs makes my blood boil!!!
1. Everyone on this site (with the possible exception of some newbies) knows the long, convuluted history the WTBTS + UN have had - there's no denying it. Perhaps if some loser in the Writing Dept. had a bright idea all by himself and then got quickly DFd for even thinking about joining the UN, then it would have been OK. But by the time they were busted, the BOys at BOrglyn were already in the UN's books for a decade. This means that many people in Bethel must have known about. Tie that into the subtle pro-UN messages in the Awake and you get the mother of all cop-outs on your hands. The WTBTS was busted fair & square, and the sad fact is that 99% of Dubs will never know, or even if they do know they will just ignore the evidence and continue blindly worshipping their Godz in BOrglyn.
2. The Silentlambs thing and the general issue of child abuse. Bill summed it up better than I ever could on his website, so go visit and see for yourself!
3. The blood issue. Marvin, I felt your letter was a very reasonable, private request for a clarification of some points, in response this 'brother' dipped his pen in acid and proceeded to slag u for doubting. He completely ignored the facts you presented - instead he chose to perform what we on this site like to call a 'character attack'. So how does that vomit taste, Marvin?
There are so many more things I could mention - elders asking incredibly painfully probing questions of rape victims, the 'two witnesses' molestation thing, the oral sex thing, you name it brother, I can tell you all about it.
It's a sick Society, and the sad fact is that it is going to continue ruining it's blind followers' lives for possibly decades or maybe even (gasp) centuries to come.
