i know the society did.but on what basis?

have they given evidence of any apostate material from crises of conscience,that stands up?ray was disfellowedshipped for eating a meal with peter and that is not apostascy.

so,on what basis is the book declared apostate material.i have not found any evidence from the society that points to apostate material from the book itself.surely they must of read it to make such an announcement to the rank and file not to read it.

B/C it is written by an apostate, is why.

Unfortunately, when you read the book, Franz was DF'd for apostasy, although he never did practice it!

Tried to appeal the decision 3 times, and never heard from the society.

Make sense? The cult thinks so...

just got back from my sisters 15th anniversary party/ bbq......what a wicked time!...started at 2pm this arf.

am having sort of trouble pressing the right keys on my keyboard right now, got some great photo's, i'll have to scan and post them when i get the hang of it all.

beautiful sunshine, beautiful family and friends, lots of laughter, lots of beer.....and lots of music which i had to sort.....i've exhausted my music collection.......and one burnt finger from the bbq (damn tongs!

I was supposed to go on an epic mountain bike ride today, but it went from +32 yesterday to RAIN RAIN RAIN all day... nice to see that someone had a good time today!

Who has Experienced This?

okay, i would like to get some feedback on people who have been reproved and later realized that everyone knew why you were reproved.

and, people who have shared a personal problem in confidence with an elder(s), only to have it spread like wildfire throughout the congregation.

please also detail what you did about it.

I got the body of elders in trouble with the C.O.. Long story short, I had just changed cong's, and didn't put in my time for a few months until they got my cardd, at their request.

The service overbeerer stonewalled me everytime I tried to give me my time,,, like 3 times...

I tried to aux. pioneer one month and he told me that I was not approved, b/c I, I went against jehovah's arrangement.

The Circuit Overseer was out in service with me, and asked if I thought about pioneering. Well, I told him the story and he was PISSED. The elders had a meeting before the friday night bookstudy (you know, when the P.O. comes, we all have the bookstudy at the hall on a friday..).. and reemed their asses out. Then, they had a special announcement that I was auxillary pioneering at the Friday meeting! An elder comes up to me, GRABS ME HARD on the arm and HISSES at me "you really need to get - your - time - in - properly...", and I RIPPED my arm out from him, and said," I tried to". (god, I wish that I had a better comeback), and stormed away.

I laughed all night over that one, and still makes me laugh to this day. They were SOOO PISSED AT ME. That Circuit Overseer was extemely cool!
