as you know ive been a member of your congregation for many years.
throughout the last several years i have had the opportunity to get to know many of you personally and i can truly say i have love for all of you.
Great points unstoppable! Im going to use these points with my wife. Ive been a coward since i approached my wife and shocked the hell out of her but im getting increasingly tired of living a double life. I throw things out here and again which raises an eyebrow but then is quickly sublimated. How did you handle your wife at first when uou first had doubts?

i suppose part of the fascination i have with this board is, the exotic nature of those making up the member population.
i say exotic because, as you yourselves will agree with, folks such as yourselves don't hang around the christian congregation for long upon making the decision that truth is not for you.
(rom 1:25) this "fading" thing spoken of here likely plays a role into why christians such as me find the average ex-jw to be a bit fascinating.
Oh my my my sftw has started standardizing all people outside the WT again...typical. Tonight at the meeting i heard the same things "people i. The world do this but we are better" yadda yadda bs bs. Typical mind control
so because of a new job that i got, i have to stay in my parents' city for 6 months.
thereafter i can move.. so i am back at my parent's house.
my dad is fully awakened now, it will just take time for him to accept the invalidity of the blood doctrine and the disfellowshipping doctrine, or anyone for that matter.. my mom was delighted when i said i wanted to join them in the family worship night.

while headship has always been a problem in my marriage, partly because i'm more of a team player and my wife has man issues, now that i'm clearly fading my wife feels that i have nothing of worth to say.. i resist the idea of divorce but this is not much of a marriage.
since she doesn't/ can't hold down a job alimony would be ridiculously expensive.
cheaper to keep her, as they say.. i get zero cooperation or even discussion for any adjustments i feel might be in order for us as we grow older: obabmacare?

One time my wife and i were at a friends house and the wife says to my wife "is there anything thats more of a turn on than a spiritual man?" sorry mate but most "sisters", because sex goes hand in hand with emotions for them, may not find a brother attractive or as sexually desirable "without Jehovah". Jw husbands are effed because women in the org (because of the GB) place so much on the headship .

im sorry you have to go through this, i was in a similar situation when i opened up a little about my doubts...and a similar thing happened. Once challenged your almost brought to a swinelike level immediately.
