violence in rock music?
LOL. I love rock music when there is classical instruments in them, such as the piano in everscence. And I've been to see the levellers a few times, they use the violin a lot.
so the dixie chicks are abandoning country for rock.
apparently because they're not appreciated or understood by the country music industry and fans.
didn't we have some sort of post-anti-bush discussion about how they were making more money since their ill-fated comments?

tomorrow the divorce will be granted.
even though the past few months have been hairy, scary and horrible, i am glad for them because they led to my freedom.
i woke up a couple of years ago from the nightmare that was my marriage.
Congratulations Robyn!!! When my divorce came through a group of us went out partying that night, then had a huge party at home the following night. It still gets talked about now as one of the best parties that I've been to.
subject: are you a real woman?
ladies - if you accidentally over-salt a dish while it's still cooking, drop in a peeled potato and it will absorb the excess salt for an instant "fix-me-up.
real woman - if you over-salt a dish while you are cooking, that's too bad.
According to that I'm a real woman. Kinda worrying....
well, i might have went a little too far this time, but when someone pushes me, i push back, that's just the way i am.. my parents worst saying, and was probaly one of the reasons that i left jw land was ..................."the worst person at the kingdom hall is better than the best person in the world.".
if i had a dollar for everytime i heard that growing up.. so, i asked my mom if she still felt that way, she said sort of (very carefully), i said so the jw child molesters are still better then people in the world, is that how you really feel ?
she started to cry, before it was the media just making up stories, now i think she is realizing that "some" of these stories are true.. she asked me why i hate the jw's so much.. i said i don't hate the jw's, i hate the organization and the lies.
The one I hated was after assemblies etc when people used to say, "Wasn't it wonderful that we now have this new light". It used to bug me how people would just blindly accept the things they heard even if they contradicted what they had taught previously, and went on and on about how great it was.
jgnat, a little bird told me that your birthday was yesterday.
happy birthday!!!!!!.

Happy Birthday!
when we first left the dubs, we celebrated x-mas pretty much straight away, but had no decorations or tree, and only gave gifts to each other.
for some reason it just seemed wrong to put up decorations and we continued to celebrate this way for about 5 years.
we decided to put up decorations when it was my daughters 1st x-mas, and have never looked back.
This is going to be my first christmas, and I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing yet. At work there is always party after party after party, so I know I'm going to have fun. I live on my own so not sure about putting up decorations yet.
Last Saturday I was in London for my brother birthday party, and we cracked open a bottle of champagne because it was the first time the three of us had been together as non-jws to celebrate.
i have heard the rumor more than once that people have avoided df'ing by threatening to kill themselves if they are df'd.
has anyone else heard of this?
(((LyinEyes)))
i know this has been discussed before but i think a fresh thread on this will be enjoyable.
Anglise, Glen McFarlane now lives 5 miles from my house. He still does stand in CO work, and was the stand in CO for my old congregation last July.
how's the weekend going?
mrs ozzie and i have been very busy with friends.
had a drive in the countryside today and stopped at an english-style pub, replete with large beer garden where we had a great meal-- more like a feast, really; you know how generous the pub meals can be!
3. Got to the meetings late!!!!

5. Closed my eyes in the meeting and thought of England!
