I often wondered, how to hard-core JWs explain the existence of Neanderthals??? Do they just bury their heads in the sand and claim that Neanderthals didn't exist, or that they were just early humans?? Do they dismiss the DNA evidence?

'No deceit was found in their mouths, they are without blemish'. And without TIGHT PANTS, according to Anthony Morris the Turd.

Loyalty to Org Over Everything Else
by startingover13 ini'm slowly beginning to realize that the person who i love the most is more loyal to an organization above all else.
some time ago, i wrote about how my girlfriend and i were both df'd for fornication.
i do believe that what we did was out of line, from a biblical standpoint, and i accepted my discipline.

Just the statement that she would stop speaking to you unless you were reinstated speaks volumes. Trying to change her mind at this point is a no-win situation. Let her get reinstated....then if she stops speaking to you your course of action will be very clear: Cut her loose!!!

Why Is Alcoholism Deeply Embeded In JW Culture?
by RottenRiley inwe get plenty of company men passing through our circuit, often filled with misinformation and lugging around a suitcase of guilt, they bring more guilt to the weak while praising the braggart pioneers and slapping the "righteous over much" elders.
why are the wrong people getting praise in this distorted community?
i know for a fact many of the elders i served with have issues with alcoholism, when "brother guilt" brought his emotional hurricane through our circuit, i had the chance to eat and help pay for his "seven shots of tequila", both him and his wife were not immune to over-indulgences.

Homosexuality, the GB and the Bible
by Oubliette inthe recent topics addressing the shamefully bigoted talk by jw gb member, anthony morris, on the subject of homosexuality got me thinking.
what the heck is up with the gb's obsession with this subject?.
as far as i can determine, jesus never said a single thing in reference to homosexuality.

Homosexuality should be referred to as a 'genetic variation', not a 'genetic abnormality', in my opinion.

Could i possily be one of the sealed?
by msconcerned ini went to the meeting last night, (with the start of a beard) and going throught he book study i had a thought.
god our "heavenly father" wants us to have a personal relationship with him because he is love.
well my brain disconnected from this thinking because if the bible was "written primarily for the anointed" and the benefits in the bible can only be mine because of "association" with the anointed, then i can never have a personal relationship with god or jesus.

Avoid or call them back?
by Angus Beef indaughter missed a call from an elder tonight...we've missed meetings for about a month now.
she is dating a worldly guy and i'm sure someone has seen them together.
makes us nervous and with us being fairly new to the fading facet... should she call or avoid.

Just tell the elders that whatever they are worried about is a 'family matter' and will be handled without their help. Thank them for their concern and tell them you will call them if you need their assistance. Please do not call or drop by unannounced.

What do Baptists believe?
by quellycatface ini'm thinking about going to church again because i'm really interested in god (today)!!.
sometimes i'm so confused and feel like there is no god, other days i do and want to try and get to know him.. i guess i'm scared because of all the bs that went on in the kh.. there is a local baptist church near me that seems nice.
i'm in the uk.

I was raised in a Southern Baptist Church in Texas in the 1950s and 1960s. I have absolutely no use for Baptist churches. Aside from other nutty beliefs, they are rabidly anti-gay and do not support marriage equality. Run, don't walk, away from any Baptist church!!!

The best thing to ask any JW: 'Did you personally come to the 'overlapping generations' theory from your own study of the Bible's teachings? Or did you just buy into it ready-made because the GB dictated it?'. That will clearly show whether they follow the Bible or if they just blindly follow the GB.
